We had a VERY early reservation since it was for my elderly parents. It was amazing as always but we were at the back of the upstairs dining room. Figured, given the early time, we could have had a better view other than the curtains since it wasn’t even remotely busy but that was my ONLY complaint. The food was, as always, amazing, as was the service.

We were there for our granddaughter’s 12th birthday. It was a fabulous dinner from climbing the stairs to the oh-so-impressive baked Alaska finale. Mary, our waitress, was superb and made our birthday girl feel so grown up and special. All 5 at the table enjoyed a fabulous meal. Our granddaughter rated her evening as a 10 out of 10. Thank you!

Unfortunately, the second visit wasn't as impressive as our first there earlier in the week with clients. The waiter was fine with his service, but not like Eric, with whom we were hoping to be seated at his section after mentioning his name. My wife was impressed with her drink - Truluck's signature drink, some bubbling concoction, while my Chopin vodka was supposed to be chilled and served in a rocks glass, but was on ice in a rock glass. One of the Blue Stone crabs appetizer wasn't fully cracked making difficult for my wife to handle. Her main course - Branzino fish was excellent however my Tri of filet of beef was overly done with salt and only one of them was rare. The Creme Brulee for desert was delicious however the Expressos were served to far in advance to enjoy with it. It was certainly a different experience the second go round.

Great experience all the way around. Amazing service, exquisite food, attention to all details, truly an amazing place to enjoy fine dining when you know what to expect. I will always enjoy this location and excellent stone crab claws at Truluck's!

Truluck's is a favorite lunch spot and has been for many years. From Maggie who greets you, often by name, and makes sure you have the right table to the attentive staff and delicious food, I will continue to frequent Trulluck's. They also have an awesome HH with great live music.
