It really didn’t have any wow factor to justify the above average pricing. Our waitress got the wines switched, my husband’s sandwich wrong and didn’t seem to know allot).

Very able and personable servers, Efficient and speedy delivery of food that was both delicious and appealing on the plate! A beautiful space, that includes outdoor seating. Sound levels run high compared to most dining establishments. That is just part of this style of restaurant for certain. We always decide on restaurants based on mood, conversation and comfort. True Food would be selected when the conversation is not a top priority as noise levels, open kitchen sounds, music etc all contribute to a measurable level that for some occasions may not be most suitable. I would not suggest this for a first date. Nice.

The food was ok, just ok and pricey for this quality. Would not comeback. Would not recommend.

A friend took me out for dinner and we both wanted to dine at True Food. It was not busy so the restaurant was more quiet than usual. Our server was attentive and helpful. As usual, the food was delicious. Thank you True Food!

So I've whined previously about TFK but my wife and kids like it there. I've always thought the food was average, and portions small, but it it's a nice place aesthetically. This time we sat in the patio (mistake). Patio was almost empty and service was slow. Waitperson was polite but abrupt. Two of our party of 4 ordered the same thing and asked if the side could be substituted, response was yes. Get the bill and there are two upcharges. When asked, the waitperson said it was essentially automatic and the side that was substituted was really the main dish. Nonsense. Should have been clear up front. Too many small things for one visit and there have been other small things in the past, but they add up. We ordered two desserts. All told, with gratuity, about $170. This is not about money. Value is not there, especially when considering the scale of TFK. It used to be considerably better.

It was busy, but we were seated very quickly and in a semi-private area. The food service was quick and friendly.
