We had a large group of 10 and met for birthday dinner at 5pm on a Sunday. Our server was attentive and we all agreed we received great service. It was my first time at True Food and I really enjoyed my gluten free Korean noodle bowl. It was so yummy! The menu also had vegan and vegetarian options. Will definitely go back!

The new recipe for the Brussels sprouts was amazing. Better than the original line several years ago. The plant double cheeseburger cooked crispy is a favorite of our! Our server was outstanding!!! For all the years we’ve been coming to eat at True Food, our server today was number #1. She had command of her tables and gave everyone the best service. She checked on us and got our food out all at the right times. Enjoyed today all around!

I have been going to True Food Kitchen for years and usually it’s good but sometimes it isn’t. The last time I went, it was not. We were a party of 5 and although I made reservations, are table wasn’t ready and we had to wait for about 10mins. Our server seemed distracted even though the restaurant wasn’t as packed as I’ve usually seen it. Our table didn’t get any silverware until we got our food even though I ordered an appetizer that we ended up eating with our hands. I ordered the salmon and it was still raw in the middle. I had also asked for the roasted brussel sprouts and instead he brought me sweet potato. By the time we finished and were ready to pay the check our waiter took 20mins to pick up the bill even though by then the restaurant was nearly empty, he stopped by and said, oops - sorry I almost forgot. I’ve define have had better food and service at True Food, but lately it seems both have been going down hill. It’s frustrating to spend $$ on food and service that are below what is promised. I believe True Food should assess their bottlenecks and customer base, realizing that what they promise to deliver, should be what they actually do. Clean food, good service, and no seed oils! I asked the waiter what oil the veggies(which were actually sweet potato’s) were cooked in and he said “grape seed oil”, I asked if the could cook make food in avocado oils and he said they didn’t have it. Every restaurant has a bad day, let’s not make a habit of it True Food, I expected more.

This place never disappoints -- never! Dishes consistently creative, well prepared and beautifully presented. Service always friendly, attentive and quick to pivot if the slightest thing is out of place, which is rare! We love you, we count on you, for quality, variety and great value!

Popular location in Old Town Pasadena. This was my first visit here. I got the Korean glass noodles (a bit overcooked, sticky, not spectacular). Our group shared a pitcher of sangria. Also nothing special with not much flavor. Loved the patio and service was great!

Great experience, excellence wait staff. I enjoyed the Chinese Chicken Salad, my mates had the Sausage Fennel Pizza and one of the other salads. We had the Hummus appetizer: recommended. Also, can’t say enough about the Pear Tisane drink. The squash pie with coconut cream with nice but maybe a little strong on the allspice/chai flavoring. Good value for the money, an excellent place with a well-prepared diverse menu.

The food was excellent! Nice service. I requested a shady table and we were given a lovely quiet table in the shade. It was perfect.

It was easy to find and make reservations. We were seated promptly. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Our server was great. Made us feel like we were her only guests. Food and drinks were delicious. We were served promptly and our to go orders were equally as delicious. There is something for everyone on the menu. We will return soon.

It looks like the place needs improvements . Our outdoor booth had ripped back cushions and the greenery is dirty and overgrown . Needs attention in both areas
