We had an enjoyable dinner with our group of eight. We had previously set a 7pm Friday reservation for our group, which we changed at the last minute to 6pm with a quick call to the restaurant. A flexibility and accommodation that our group greatly appreciated.

We usually have a great experience at Pasadena True Food, but last night we were very disappointed. The kids’ meal hummus with rainbow carrots: the carrots were massive, crudely chopped into three huge chucks that our grandkids could hardly get their little fingers around, and they were not rainbow - just the plain, old orange. The grilled chicken was overcooked, dry, and cold. However, our server removed the charge for the chicken from our bill. Hopefully, last night was just a one-off anomaly.

A good variety of dinner options. Portions on the light side. Reasonably priced beverages. Ambience is a bit meh, but indoor and outdoor and plenty of seating.

Initially we were seated inside but was too noisy so asked to be moved to outside table. Had to wait another 15 min but once seated everything was great.
