True Food Kitchen is a chef-driven restaurant and scratch bar that was founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, the pioneer of integrative medicine, to provide food that tastes great and is good for you. Our menu features food and drinks crafted with nutrient-dense ingredients and carefully sourced proteins from the world’s most responsible and sustainable growers, farmers and producers. Expand your palate with our Edamame Dumplings, grab a bite of comfort food with our Grass-fed Burger or Lasagna Bolognese, or enjoy lighter fare with our O.G. The brunch menu was very limited and the service was quite bad. There was only one other table in the restaurant. The server. Was not very present, helpful or knowledgeable about the menu items. I think this place had a lot of potential but it was not a good experience.

For a party of 12 our server and we staff did well to accommodate all our needs from drinks to appetizers to the entrées. We did not have dessert. We did request the private dining room and I upped the number from 10 to 12 and was forewarned that it would be cozy, but it worked well for our group. If there’s one thing that we all complained about is the seating the seats are not meant for eating they’re more meant for lounging.

I love eating here but this most recent experience solidified it. When I shared that I was allergic to avocado, including avocado oil the kitchen typically uses, they offered to broil my salmon. However, when my dish came out, they explained that they accommodated cooking the salmon in olive oil so it would have the similar crisp taste as those cooked in the original recipe. I was so appreciative that the restaurant took the time to make the accommodations and ensure the taste was top-notch.

Our service was extremely slow. She took our order and we did not see her again until we were halfway through our entrées. Extremely disappointing.

We went with friends for the first time, for a birthday and we didn't have a good time. The food was not great. The burger and chicken sandwich were both simply put in between the breads without some type of a sauce to make it more juicy and moist. We had to ask someone in the kitchen (because we could not see our server) to bring us some mayo and ketchup. It was not crowded but our server was very hard to find. We asked for more water and we had to call her again after waiting over 15 min. She was over by the register probably entering some orders, playing with her hair and talking to another male server. When we signaled her again, instead of apologizing that she forgot, she asked if we wanted to order dessert, if we needed a box and if we wanted the bill. After each question we kept repeating please bring water. At one point with a rude tone of voice she rudely said I will bring you water. Although we replied no to all of her questions, she still brought the bill and a box. She didn't listen. It was as if she wanted to send us home sooner. Very disappointed!

This is a really good restaurant with quality food that is leagues better than most. I worry that it's getting overlooked and is never as busy as I think it should be. Yes, it's more expensive than many chains, but you get what you pay for. Even my kids liked it. My 6 year old said the pizza was great and my 10 year old loved the lasagna. Even the desserts were excellent. Please frequent this restaurant. You won't regret it.

This was our second time eating at this location, and we were hoping they'd settled in more. We've eaten at several other locations, and they were all fantastic. This one is only good. While the food is tasty, if a bit expensive, the service is lacking. The table next to us had dirty dishes and napkins, and it was never cleared the entire time we were there. That's just absurd. We also waited much longer than a reasonable time every whenever we asked for anything. A question about an allergen - she never came back to answer. We asked again when she finally returned to take our order. My husband had to ask for a glass of water from another server, as our waiter never came back to bring it. Do better.
