True Food Kitchen is a chef-driven restaurant and scratch bar that was founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, the pioneer of integrative medicine, to provide food that tastes great and is good for you. When the restaurant first opened, I had heard mixed reviews about the menu choices. That it was limited. But we found the menu to be full of choices for everyone in our party and their dietary needs.

I frequently dine with you for multiple reasons, mostly with my girlfriends as we all enjoy healthy, fresh and unique meals Your menu caters too all, plant based as well as meat Eaters

Simply put, I will never be back at True Food. We were told the bartender would not make a drink on their brunch menu so I had to choose something different. Then our food took ages to come even though we were one of 4 tables. The potatoes were burnt to a crisp. The side of toast did not come until we were almost finished our meal. Terrible service, small portions, inattentive staff.

Our server wasn’t informed on any questions we had on the menu. We asked how much it would be for extra glass noodles in the Korean noodle bowl and she lied and said it would be an up charge of about $7 because “they’re expensive” we then asked the host how much it would be he said it was no charge and he took care of it. Don’t lie to your customers please and thank you! This is coming from someone who also serves so it was just poor service all around & not informing your guest of up charges such as lemonade being extra & sauces being extra. It’s frustrating because it really takes a lot for service to be bad because I personally understand how the service industry works.

Food was delicious as always. Tried the Korean BBQ sandwich for the first time. It was very good; and highly recommend if looking for or considering alternatives. The blueberry crumble sundae, a shareable dessert, was a nice refreshing finish to a great meal. Both servers, James and yes James, were engaging and attentive as always. Had a great time and will return again soon

Great service providing fresh, flavorful food. We arrived before 6 pm so we were able to order meatloaf sliders from their Lite Bites Happy Hour menu. So generous! You can dunk the slider in dipping juice but they have so much flavor you do not even need to use it. We also ordered a grilled chicken ranch wrap with a side salad. The citrusy dressing for the kale salad was very pungent—a little bit went a long way. Chunks of chicken, avocado, lettuce, onion, olives and a ranch dressing were inside a whole grain pita. Sharing both items left us full. We wish we had left room for the interesting desserts.
