   Food was delicious. Dirty martinis took forever to arrive and were not good. Too dirty and seemed heavy on vermouth even though I asked for no vermouth. Server was very friendly, as were the hosts. Timing of check ins and drink offers felt a bit delayed. I liked the space and location. Overall a good experience and I’d go back.

   This was our first time here and it did not disappoint. Service, atmosphere, and food were all very good. RC was our server and he was very polite, professional, and helpful. We had the blue crab and bone marrow dip, French onion oysters, scallops, snakehead (fish), and a peanut butter, chocolate, and marshmallow dessert. All the dishes were delicious and well prepared. I suggest sharing the dessert as it was rich and a good size. I also suggest making a reservation as by 6:30 on a Saturday all tables were filled. We will be back.

   Food and service was outstanding as usual. Definitely my go to place in Baltimore city

   Very disappointing. The clams were sandy ... not much fun eating sand. Service was spotty. Had to ask for a glass of wine three times. Brussel Sprouts were over sauced. No need to go back.

   Always our fave for solid dining, great drinks and service in a lovely dining room. We had the pumpkin cake last night, delicious, on top of our burgers!!!

   True Chesapeake offered a fantastic dining experience. The ambiance was perfect—not too loud, not too quiet. The food was excellent, and the service was equally impressive. However, one area that could be improved is the portion sizes.

   Consistent as always! Hands-down, some of the best oysters you can eat. Didn’t care much for the broccoli soup however everything else was delicious. This is my second visit. Can’t wait to return.

   Fantastic meal - an oyster lover’s heaven! Two of us shared a dozen raw oysters, which enabled each of us to sample all the offerings, plus the roasted, fried, French onion, and Rockefeller. All were delicious, and with the luscious Apple Galette for dessert, the meal, was perfection! Wonderful service and great ambiance- we can’t wait to go back!

    Sweetbreads have a both a very subtle taste and a wonderful consistancy. What Chesapeake did to them was sinful! They were heavily breaded, cut into walnut-sized chunks and deep fried. They are hard to fine on restaurant menus and when I saw them I had to try them. I fond many of thier dishes poorly prepared. The oysters were excellent. I keep trying the place because I love oysters and want to support their Bay farming but Chesapeake too often disappoints on other menu items.
