This dining experience should be on your bucket list. The dining room has a view of the river and is cozy and quiet with only six small tables for two. Each course of the meal was expertly prepared and presented. A feast for the eyes as well as the palate. The cod and sturgeon were super fresh and delicious. My wife has severe dietary restrictions so accommodations were made on the fly without skipping a beat. Our server was very patient and gracious. Can't wait to go back next year.

I am a local resident; Trout Point Lodge was accommodating to changing reservations (# of guests), without hassle or creating any inconvenience to myself or themselves. The 6 coarse meal was fabulous, service was excellent (maybe flat sole wear instead of heals, to maintain quiet ambience). A beautiful setting. It was also very nice to meet the owner/ operator of the lodge. I would and shall return for another encounter... Thank You!

This was our first time visiting Trout Point Lodge (even though we only live 20kms away). It was an unreal dining experience topped off by excellent service. I can highly recommended this amazing place to anyone looking for an amazing date night or anniversary dinner.

In a word, outstanding. I can't believe that this place lives so under the radar. I went with no expectations and was floored. Hidden in the wilderness, Trout Point is a sprawling log cabin complex overlooking the picturesque Tobiatic wilderness area. Immediately welcomed by the excellent staff, this lodge feels like somewhere Hemingway would have visited. The rooms were huge and well appointed, the food was excellent and lovingly crafted, there were lots of activities available. Not for the faint of wallet however. You do get what you pay for, and you'll pay a fair bit. The rewards are excellent though, and you'll be dreaming about your visit for a long time after. I highly recommend taking one of the cooking classes, just be sure to go hungry as you'll need the room!
