Trivet derives from the age-old cooking utensil - an iron tripod placed over fire to support a cooking pot or kettle - reflecting the warmth and balance which forms Head Chef Jonny Lake and Master Sommelier Isa Bal’s values for the restaurant, as well as their working relationship.

From the very beginning of the creative process, Jonny, Isa and the team think about how food and drink work together. The menu features their explorations of ingredients, dishes and drinks from around the world, inspired by the culinary history and diversity around us. The wine list is set out chronologically, following the historic beginnings of wine to present day, with over 350 wines from classic producers to the New World, as well as acknowledging the root of viti-vinoculture with wines from Georgia, Armenia and Turkey.

As well as the welcoming main dining room, Trivet has a terrace, wine bar and private dining space. Monday nights transform into the LaBombe Wine Bar.

For events in house, Trivet offers tailored set menus for formal and casual seated dining, standing snacks and canapés, paired dinners for wine events and special in-house events such as chef collaborations and Canadian Thanksgiving! Jonny, Isa and the team can also offer off-site catering upon request.

Trivet can offer a variety of event experiences, for up to 30 guests seated in the private dining room (the 'Mustard Room'), or around 50 guests seated in the main dining space as a whole venue hire. The whole restaurant, with bar and terrace included, is a flexible and dynamic space, ready for meetings, tastings, celebrations and more.

We are now open for a very different Trivet experience, fully realising our Wine Bar potential on the most (we think unfairly) moaned-about day of the week! We would love to welcome you on Mondays from 5pm-11pm for drinks, with a special menu available to order between 5pm and 9.30pm, to help you ease into the working week (or enjoy your day off if you’re a fellow hospitality worker). The full Trivet wine list will of course be available to explore, as will our cocktails and other drink options, including some incredible wines by the glass. Online bookings can be made for parties of up to 6 guests. First time at Trivet for a quick lunch before heading to Twickenham. Outstanding food and service. Felt very well looked after by all of the staff. Definitely need to revisit !

Excellent food and wine! Great service! Loved everything especially bread, lamb and John Dory dishes! The only minus was the noise, but it didn’t bother us much (it might be a problem if you have high expectations for the).

Worst Restaurant Experience – Disappointing for a Michelin Star I had one of the worst dining experiences ever at Trivet. The restaurant was hosting a function and clearly should not have accepted additional bookings. Staff were scarce, and our main course wasn’t served until 1 hour and 40 minutes after we arrived. I’ve never felt so disrespected, especially considering I usually expect first-class service. This was far from the Michelin star experience I anticipated. They only removed the service charge, but honestly, they shouldn’t have charged me at all. I didn’t make a fuss because I was with company, but I demand a full refund for such a poor experience.

World-class food in an on-trend setting, with service that’s perfectly on-point—welcoming, informative, engaging, without being fussy or pretentious. Superb wine list with good values to be had. Our party tried a bit of everything, with the duck, lamb, and lobster noodles all drawing particular rave reviews.

First time at Trivet as we were already in the London Bridge area. Lovely modern decor, good efficient service and tasty food from an interesting menu.

since being introduced to TRIVET I have had numerous dinners and a lunch . On all my visits the consistency has been optimal ...I really enjoy eating there and it's a great place to take friends.

I have been many times to Trivet, usually for special meals to catch up with close friends and family. The food is exceptional, and the wine list is perfect. The drunken noodles are a firm favourite when on the menu. The Vinegar chicken is superb & a surprise hit with my group. The sweetbread dishes are beautiful. I will be back soon before Christmas kicks in.
