Our first time at Triumph in the renovated Old Post Office. The renovations are beautiful. We had a very friendly and nice waitress who was attentive. Food was delicious. Only one issue needs to be addressed: our main courses came before we were all finished with our appetizers. Also, plates were being removed from the table before we all finished our main courses. Both of the issues need to be addressed and are necessary and easy improvements for a fine dining establishment.

We tried the new Triumph Brewery last night (had an 8:15 reservation in the upstairs dining room). It was busy when we arrived, so we sat at the bar and ordered drinks. We were soon seated in the side dining room, which seems a lot quieter than the main room in the front of the building—this was appreciated! The menu is creative, with a lot of imaginative dishes from small to large. We ordered two appetizers and they were so generous that we only ordered one entree (and no dessert). The smoked trout sushi roll was amazing, as was the flatbread with sweet potato and bacon. Our main course was a crock of duck and rabbit cassoulet—fabulous. I loved the dinner and would only recommend that patrons be aware that the portions are generous. By the time we left (around 10:00) the restaurant was not busy, but people were seated at the bar and in the comfortable lounge.

I hadn’t eaten here since they moved into the former Princeton post office. We ate upstairs (there is more casual dining in the lower level). Definitely upscale, though not as expensive as other places in town. Food was out of this world. I had the best filet mignon I’ve had in years, and my husband had the Griggstown chicken and would have licked the plate if that was acceptable. They had a jazz band playing when we first arrived, not loud. Never had a problem having a conversation. I’m looking forward to eating here again.

Love the interior Had a tasty salad that was incredibly small Prices are high. For example $24 for mussels We’d stop in for a drink but unlikely to eat there again

Amazing reopening of Triumph! Amazing food and cocktails upstairs, old school brewery and bar downstairs. Can’t wait to go back. Easily one of the best places in Princeton now.

The food was a welcome return to the creative salads, entrees, and desserts we enjoyed at the Nassau St location in a tastefully elegant, comfortable, and quiet environment. Our server, Xavier, was excellent and helped make this anniversary dinner truly memorable.

I really enjoy the setting at the new triumph in Princeton. This was my first time dining upstairs and i loved the setting. the food was presented very well but it was just okay in taste. we ordered the duck which did not have enough flavor and had an interesting, almost mushy/too soft texture. we also ordered the dim sum and mushroom baklava which tasted fine. i just was not wowed by anything. the roobios tea was my favorite part of my meal.

This was a delightful dining experience. We had a drink at the bar before dinner and the bartenders were exceptional. Ryan and Christian—I asked because I wanted to be able to call them out by name—knew how to make the drinks perfectly (not always a given) and were personable and engaging. Dinner was delicious and Kate, our server, was spot-on! She knew the menu and the specials and was clear on every ingredient and preparation. All four of us in our party agreed that the evening was wonderful. We will return.

This brewery restaurant was very well redone in their new home. The decor is superb the food was excellent and the service was very knowledgeable, polite and attentive.

Our first time at the new location in the old Princeton post office. It is a wonderful space! Many of the features of the post office were retained and all of the extensive dark woodwork was restored along with an amazing original mural that was "on loan from the government". Service was friendly if a little uneven; a drink ordered early in the meal appeared late in the meal. Unfortunately, I can only describe the food as average. My strip steak was fine albeit it a bit overwhelmed by blue cheese (a favorite of mine), mushrooms and a lot of caramelized onions. My wife's barramundi (a substitute for the grouper which was the menu entree) was not "flakey white fish" but rubbery and not terribly appealing. The NE clam chowder was very good as were the drinks. It's a lovely space and its early in the game at the new location. Hopefully things will only improve with age. Will certainly visit again down the line.
