One of the very best Houston restaurants I have been to. I'm so glad I ended up in the Woodlands for dinner to try Tris. I will definitely be back. More than worth the drive. So good.

Tris exceeded our expectations—believe the hype! They added thoughtful, personal touches to celebrate our anniversary, including rose petals and a “11” to celebrate our special year. Our waitress, Mack (with a K), was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and spot-on with her recommendations. She truly made the evening unforgettable. Great job chef Austin. We can’t wait to return!

Everything I tasted was on another level. The staff went above & beyond expectations. Mack rules. Pork chop & poached crab. Divine.

Restaurant atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing. One leather chair we sat in was ripped and needed to be replaced. Thomas our service was fantastic, very knowledgeable and friendly. The poached crab was delicious. Surprised they only had one salad to select, so we passed on the wedge salad. The Chilean sea bass was very flavorful and was served hot. I was disappointed with the Zabuton steak, it was tough and the kimchi mash barely warm. Thomas brought a replacement order but the steak was still tough but the kimchi mash was hot and flavorful. The pecan dessert was excellent!

Tris in my opinion is the best restaurant in the Woodlands. The chef goes above and beyond for quality food and the restaurant has excellent service. Definitely recommend.

For our 20th anniversary, my husband and I chose TRIS in The Woodlands, and it was a night to remember. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond, decorating our table and surprising us with a signed anniversary card. Every team member congratulated us, adding to the special atmosphere. We began with the charbroiled oysters—an absolute standout in both flavor and presentation. My husband had the picanha steak, and I had the beef tenderloin, both perfectly cooked and elevated by their signature sauces (miso aioli for me, jalapeño sauce for him). The lobster mashed potatoes were a hit, and Mack's recommendation of the cauliflower side didn’t disappoint. The cocktails were expertly made—my husband loved his Moscow Mule, and my brown butter Old Fashioned and espresso martini were both excellent. For dessert, we ordered banana pudding but were surprised with four different treats. The carrot cake was my husband’s favorite, and I was blown away by the bread pudding, which I normally don’t order. TRIS made our anniversary so special, and I highly recommend it for any occasion. The food, drinks, and exceptional service made for a memorable evening we won’t forget. We can’t wait to come back! (Also, thanks to Jack for the Scotland travel tips!)
