Great food and service. Hard to find pompano but I ordered it with crab topping and it was excellent. Crab cakes are great appetizer. Trout was wonderful.

Went on a date with my wife. Ordered the beef filet medium rare. It came out extremely rare, so I sent it back. It came out extremely rare again, so I sent it back and ordered something else. This is the second visit I’ve had trouble getting a properly cooked steak. By the time my new order was finally served correctly, my wife was already finished with her meal. She ordered the blackened redfish, which was somewhat dry. I did not receive an appropriate acknowledgement of the repeated failure to properly cook my steak. Food was ok but not great.

Service, food, and ambience was excellent. Trilby’s was our favorite restaurant many years ago. This was our first visit since the restaurant reopened and was not disappointed.

So glad to see Trilby’s return. The bacon wrapped figs with goat cheese appetizer was delicious. The shrimp cocktail had large shrimp. We each had the trout almandine which had a little twist from the standard recipe. The addition of capers added a nice flavor. The crème brûlée and special desert, peach cobbler was delicious. The service provided by Kevin was prompt and unobtrusive. We will definitely return.

REally good food. Party of 4, we had the crab au gratin and the tuna for appetizers and for dinner, the stuffed flounder, pompano and an au gratin. They have really redecorated the place and it feels like a very nice upscale restaurant. Will definitely come back.

This is my new favorite place on the coast!!! The ambience was so charming, even the music they had playing was perfect! I ordered a steak- it was cooked just the way I like it (medium rare) and it had THE BEST flavor! It was something unique, but not overwhelming. Be sure to save room for dessert!! They have a chocolate mousse that is TO DIE FOR! I always order the chocolate mousse whenever a restaurant serves it & this was by far the best I’d ever tasted!! I can’t recommend Trilby’s enough and can’t wait to go back! The entire experience was superb from start to finish!

Overall, our food was phenomenal. We ordered the bacon wrapped figs (a must try) for appetizers and each had one of the fish specials. I would 100% recommend the stuffed flounder. Every bite was incredible. The ambience was disappointing. We were celebrating an anniversary dinner and expected a quiet, intimate dinner. Instead, the room was smaller than expected with many diners. The overall volume was loud and we were placed at the small table in the primary walkway. Our server couldn’t stand and speak to us without being plowed over by others passing through with food and drinks. It was difficult to have a private conversation when someone blew past our table every few minutes- servers, hostess, bartenders, manager, people looking for the bathroom. Honestly, they would do themselves and their patrons a service by removing that table altogether. At the end of the day, the food was incredible. I would recommend anyone to eat at Trilby’s. But I’d definitely encourage them to request not to be seated at our table.

This is a fabulous restaurant and a much unexpected upscale vibe at reasonable cost. With today’s food costs the Chefs and owners are doing a great service to the Ocean Springs restaurant scene. I would give it 6 stars if I could.
