   I’ve wanted to go to Treetops for some time now and my husbands 70th seemed like a good reason. It was beyond our expectation. My husband rarely is wowed by much and he said this was a “10”. Food was wonderful from warm garlic bread with a mushroom infused butter to the best crème brûlée we’ve ever had. He had filet and I had salmon- both done perfectly. The setting overlooking the woods was stunning and the wait staff were friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend. It was early in the season so we had the view through huge picture windows to ourselves. It’s pricey but when I think about three courses I guess it’s realistic. I wondered what a private meal in one of the treehouses would be like but since the restaurant was fairly empty it felt like we were alone. There are outside sour dough pizza ovens ( to open soon)and a lovely outside bar and we will definitely return- when it’s warmer and greener-maybe to tour the houses as well. Reservations in the restaurant are required. This is a hidden gem in the Laurel Highlands!

   The ambience and service at TreeTops was truly lovely. The food, however, did not live up to expectations and was not worth the price in my opinion. We were each given a glass of "bubbly" that had no bubbles and tasted completely flat as if it had been poured hours ago. If it can't be poured just as guests arrive, maybe don't serve sparkling wine? We were served oysters as our appetizer and while the flavor with the rhubarb mignonette was fine, somehow the oysters were...dry? It seems that they were missing the brine that oysters typically have. The soup and salad were decent, although the soup was barely warm. The main courses which were filet mignon and seafood ristotto were the best dishes of the evening. That said, they were also not served hot and for the price, I expected them to be exceptional. The dessert, creme brûlée, was most unfortunately NOT BRULEED before being served, which is one of the most important features of this dessert. It was obviously bruleed hours earlier (and not even completely, there were little piles of granulated white sugar just lying there on top) and refrigerated so there was no satisfying crack into the custard, which was also just ok and did not taste or look like it was made with vanilla beans- no visible flecks of vanilla and just a sort of a run-of-the-mill vanilla pudding. It was a bit painful to write this review as it was obvious that the staff that we interacted with were attentive , enthusiastic, and wanted to make our anniversary experience the best it could be. I did not want to complain to them about the sub-par food to them as I'm not sure how they could have rectified it at the time, and my husband and I wanted to focus on having a pleasant evening together, but whoever is in charge of the kitchen should take some classes. We ended up spending over $400 and I am happy to pay that for an excellent meal. Our meal was not excellent.

   Our experience at TreeTops was excellent. The setting or the tree house pod was so peaceful and quiet, plus a great space heater and really cozy blanket. They made us a fully gluten free meal and it was really phenomenal. The whole staff was friendly and welcoming. We had a really excellent time and can’t wait to go back.

   The visit and making the reservation was outstanding. Everything done with perfection from the rose to the service, to the meal. It was perfection.

   A bit pricey, but very well worth every dollar. The food was superb & the experience was outstanding! 10/10

   Everything about this experience was perfect. It was also a huge bonus that they attended to food allergies and created a special menu, even dessert!

   My friend and I had the three branches dinner . It was so delicious! Preceded by a glass of champagne. The host told us the story of the restaurant and the property. The server was excellent. We were stuffed so had no room for dessert. The chef was kind enough to wrap it to go. Worth the trip from Ohiopyle!

    I went here recently with my girlfriend for our first anniversary, and the experience was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was fantastic! We will definitely be coming back in the future.
