Visit TREAND at Baxter Valley Estate and discover this hidden gem at the top of the Mornington Peninsula, enjoy a mouth-watering lunch paired with our estate grown wines and served in a warm & friendly atmosphere inside in the cellar door.

Outside in the courtyard is a simpler affair - order your glass of wine and a cheese platter or terrine from the tasting bench and relax.

Our menu is always fresh and changes on a weekly and sometimes daily basis but you can a sample on our website www.treand.com.au

All bookings are made for 2 hours inside in the cellar door, please get in touch if you would like a longer sitting or an outdoor table.

Food and wine were outstanding. The friendly service was lovely and the ambience really great. I would highly recommend for a lovely weekend lunch date.

The food was exceptional! Didn’t expect much but we were wow-Ed by the quality of cooking and flavors. I can honestly say it is better than some fine dining food I’ve had. Compliments to the chef! The restaurant could do some improvement ambiance wise :)

We really enjoyed our meal and we were going to leave a tip but as we were leaving the hostess said,”Feel free to add a tip to your credit card bill “we just felt that her suggestion was unnecessary and a bit rude.

Unfortunately with our payment system it has the option for a tip one step before the payment amount where you can tap. so we point out that you have the option to tip or that you can skip to the payment by pressing the bottom selection but would never expect a tip and I am sorry that you found it rude. We will always say that the best tip that you can give is to visit us again.

Lovely date with my husband, fantastic service, amazing food…reasonably priced and a hidden gem, only 10 mins from home, which is an added bonus

Unusual not to thoroughly enjoy our meals here, however, in this occasion the duck leg was slightly burnt and dry. The accompanying salad had no dressing so was very lack lustre.

We made a last second Easter reservation the night before, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, and the beautiful setting on the lake.

Simple, quality food, beautifully cooked. The Pinot Noir to die for. Staff were lovely but also very professional. The ambiance is friendly and relaxed. All up the best restaurant experience I have had in a few years. Can’t ask for more than that. I will be back!
