Depuis son ouverture en mai 2006, le Treadwell est devenu l'un des restaurants les plus réputés du Canada. Il est situé à Niagara-on-the-Lake et sa philosophie « de la ferme à la table » permet au chef et propriétaire Stephen Treadwell de mettre en valeur les meilleurs produits de saison de Niagara et du Sud-ouest de l'Ontario. La carte des vins, créée par le sommelier et propriétaire James Treadwell, comporte les meilleurs vins de l'Ontario.

    My husband and I paired our menu with sommelier chosen wines and the experience was amazing. Food is superb. Staff go out of their way to make you welcome. One of our most memorable meals. Thank you!!

    Went to Treadwell for the first time for a belated Valentine's dinner. We were greeted quickly and warmly by the sommelier/bartender, and (per our reservation) were seated at the counter, which gives a great view of the talented chefs while still making for an elegant dining experience. Our server, Benoit, was helpful in his suggestions and pairings, and was all-in-all a professional who made our evening. The food was some of the best we've ever had; we especially loved the scallops as our appetizer, and the Berkshire pork and the salmon entrees. The menu is a seasonally rotating prefix, so we look forward to coming again in the future!

    Overall a wonderful experience. My only comment is that there is a lot of food and with a pre fixe menu, no option to have something less.

    Matt, the host, sommelier was friendly helpful and knowledgeable, made the experience very enjoyable. Lunch portions are very generous.

    The food is always fantastic at Treadwell although I feel like the menu this time was a little basic. Everything was incredibly well executed and perfectly cooked and delicious, however, I felt like it was missing the uniqueness that I’ve come to expect from previous years dining here. I would also say that my first impression on arrival was an overwhelming smell of cooking grease. The restaurant was very warm and heavy with food smells and I think they could stand to seriously upgrade their ventilation system in order to clear the air a little bit. The wine pairings with each course as always were fantastic and I always love the mix of wines they provide. They really elevate each portion. We will be back again for sure!
