Depuis son ouverture en mai 2006, le Treadwell est devenu l'un des restaurants les plus réputés du Canada. Il est situé à Niagara-on-the-Lake et sa philosophie « de la ferme à la table » permet au chef et propriétaire Stephen Treadwell de mettre en valeur les meilleurs produits de saison de Niagara et du Sud-ouest de l'Ontario.     It’s been close to four years since the last time we were at this beautiful restaurant. The food, the service the ambiance hasn’t changed from being absolutely excellent. Will be back for sure however we’re not waiting another four years.

    The staff were fabulous however the tables inside seem worn. Noticed that the cleaning of empty tables took a longer than usual time and that there were spills marks on the wall behind us. Food was great with, as noted, staff even better.

    All food and cocktails were excellent. Loved sitting at counter watching food prep. Service was amazing from Briar and others. Recommend leaving 2.5 hours for service if attending an 8 pm play.

    Lunch or dinner at Treadwell is a must for my wife and I on any visit to NOTL. Our latest visit was to celebrate a wedding anniversary. In addition to consistently great food and dining experience, we were especially impressed with the professionalism of the wait staff Well-done! Merci beaucoup.

    Yesterday, we had a date night at Treadwell to celebrate my birthday, but the service made the experience truly disappointing. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of our waitress; she was middle-aged with brown hair in a ponytail. My husband is a man of color, and it was clear that she discriminated against us. She provided terrible service, not even asking us what we would like to drink. When we requested a wine tasting, she completely ignored us throughout our dinner, all while being exceptionally nice to other patrons who were white. Later, a gentleman named James came over to apologize. The foie gras was horrible, but the waitress didn't seem to care, and James's solution was to deduct $10 from our $500 bill. Honestly, for someone paying a $500 bill, a $10 deduction feels like a token gesture at best. Or mocking I don’t know!!!! Begging of of the dinner they gave told as that it’s gonna be half Canadian half international wines, we got only Canadian I will never return to Treadwell and cannot recommend it to anyone. This experience ruined what should have been a special birthday date.

    The food was fabulous. The service was friendly and not rushed which is how we like it. Although the first wine pairing was not what we would have picked, the other 3 were excellent. Overall a wonderful experience.
