Depuis son ouverture en mai 2006, le Treadwell est devenu l'un des restaurants les plus réputés du Canada. Il est situé à Niagara-on-the-Lake et sa philosophie « de la ferme à la table » permet au chef et propriétaire Stephen Treadwell de mettre en valeur les meilleurs produits de saison de Niagara et du Sud-ouest de l'Ontario. La carte des vins, créée par le sommelier et propriétaire James Treadwell, comporte les meilleurs vins de l'Ontario.

    My wife and I visit Niagara-on-the-Lake 1 to 2 times per year and Treadwell is our preferred breakfast spot. I fell in love with the Lobster Eggs Benedict and it has been my first preference breakfast for a few years now. My wife always gets the omelet. Very good, no complaints. Looking forward to visiting again.

    Had dinner her with my wife for our 3rd year wedding anniversary. We come to Treadwell for dinner 1 to 2x per year during our visits to Niagara and it is always a good experience. Our entire dinner was good as usual and I would highly recommend their dinner service to visitors of Niagara-on-the-Lake.

    Excellent food experience overall. Wine pairings with the 4 course menu could have been better if they went beyond Ontario wines.

    Lovely patio for a delicious farm to table breakfast. Options are limited but service was impeccable and the food was carefully and thoughtfully prepared. We will return for dinner next trip.

    Excellent fixed 4 course menu. There are options to pick from in each course. Each course is extremely flavorful. Service is top notch. Brea I believe is our waitress name. She was very nice and made us feel at home. Celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary. Excellent choice for any occasion. I highly recommend it for any occasion.

    The food was great but the service was amazingly bad. No one talked to us for 10 mins. We didn’t get our food for 90 mins. The server put in the wrong order for one of our dishes and was able to get us the correct dish five mins later. Which begs the question, why did it take 90 mins when the returns was maybe half full. No compensation or apology beyond our server. It’s a shame the food was good because I would never go back

    Ordered the eggs Benedict and they were tasty but portion was large - 2 eggs with lobster and too much sauce. Would have preferred one with some fruit or other side. The ambiance is great - outdoor seating nestled in the main Street in NOTL. The server was excellent and coffee was awesome!

    Very good with some inconsistencies that could have easily made this 5 stars. This is a prefix menu and everything sounded good. But some of the dishes missed the mark just enough that they were not as good as they should have been. Tomato and Peach salad with burrata, needed salt and some type of vinaigrette. It was quite literally tomatoes (local and great btw) just no seasoning and under ripe peaches. I like eating local tomatoes as is, but in a salad at a restaurant it needed more. It was just lacking something to tie it all together. Gnocchi came to the table cold. The cheese that was shaved on top of it did not even melt and it also needed salt, which is unusual for a high end restaurant. Normally food at this level is just the opposite with too much salt. Scallops and Pork Belly were absolutely perfect. That alone could have been the dinner! Overall, very lovely restaurant with attentive service, just missed the mark on a few dishes.
