Depuis son ouverture en mai 2006, le Treadwell est devenu l'un des restaurants les plus réputés du Canada. Il est situé à Niagara-on-the-Lake et sa philosophie « de la ferme à la table » permet au chef et propriétaire Stephen Treadwell de mettre en valeur les meilleurs produits de saison de Niagara et du Sud-ouest de l'Ontario. La carte des vins, créée par le sommelier et propriétaire James Treadwell, comporte les meilleurs vins de l'Ontario.

I have only ever eaten here for breakfast and decided to try pre-theatre lunch. The food was very good and beautifully presented, especially the salad, one of the prettiest I have ever eaten. The prices are not for the faint of wallet, although not out of whack with other restaurants of its calibre, and since the outdoor patio is in an alley next to another business, you do get a bit of foot traffic, but it’s still pleasant. The service was good without being cloying. I would eat there again.

Food was very good but not outstanding. Some of our meals arrived room temperature. Service was exceptional and the staff did everything to make this right, as the chef should have realized the main meals were not warm when they were leaving the kitchen. Accommodations for a vegan member in our party excellent. I was disappointed that none of the menu items had beets since this is being harvested right now and makes a lovely choice in a salad. It was a little noisy for one of our guests who wears a hearing aid. Outdoor seating would probably have been a better choice had we realized.

One of the top restaurants in the Niagara region. We are so lucky to have such an amazing restaurant that plays close attention to all aspects of fabulous cuisine. Very single item on the plate has purpose and is fabulous. We can't go often enough.

Treadwell is not a pre-theatre venue, it is an INSTEAD OF theatre venue, and it never disappoints. Do yourself a favour, and plan a full evening there.

We went for breakfast the morning after Treadwell’s catered our son’s wedding. The food at the wedding was absolutely spectacular and our breakfast the next morning was outstanding. We are foodies and it was the best breakfast we have ever had. Kudos to Treadwell cuisine, you are doing everything right!

My wife and I visit Niagara-on-the-Lake 1 to 2 times per year and Treadwell is our preferred breakfast spot. I fell in love with the Lobster Eggs Benedict and it has been my first preference breakfast for a few years now. My wife always gets the omelet. Very good, no complaints. Looking forward to visiting again.

Had dinner her with my wife for our 3rd year wedding anniversary. We come to Treadwell for dinner 1 to 2x per year during our visits to Niagara and it is always a good experience. Our entire dinner was good as usual and I would highly recommend their dinner service to visitors of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
