Depuis son ouverture en mai 2006, le Treadwell est devenu l'un des restaurants les plus réputés du Canada. Il est situé à Niagara-on-the-Lake et sa philosophie « de la ferme à la table » permet au chef et propriétaire Stephen Treadwell de mettre en valeur les meilleurs produits de saison de Niagara et du Sud-ouest de l'Ontario. La carte des vins, créée par le sommelier et propriétaire James Treadwell, comporte les meilleurs vins de l'Ontario.

    Everything from the time we walked in till the time we left was amazing. The food was incredible. The service was outstanding. They made me feel very special on my birthday.

    An outstanding dining experience made even better with specially selected wine pairings! A 'must do' if in town, but also worth the drive to NOTL if not in town

    Treadwell is a nice place. Outside provided a much better noise level than it appeared to be inside. The food was good, albeit a bit underseasoned at times in my opinion, and portion sizes were a bit undersized given the prix fix setup. Wine pairing was a nice mix of local and imported wines which was appreciated. Service was truly excellent. Overall a great option in NOTL but I did find the value to be challenging, $450 for two out the door.

    Full disclosure, we have been several times, all others were terrific. Last experience, soup came out cold and our dessert was rock hard out of the freezer( chocolate cake bar) also flavours and quality of the entree was underwhelming. (small steak with fries and not much else on the plate) From a value standpoint we upgraded to the Terderloin (+30 each) and had one cocktail and one glass of wine each and bill came out to $477 Not worth it considering all the good restaurants to choose from in the area.
