Led by Chef Evan Funke, Tre Dita, Italian for "three fingers", pays homage to the precise measurement of bistecca Fiorentina.

If booking in the dining room at Tre Dita, you will enjoy a menu of antipasti, handmade pastas, signature entrees and steaks.
If booking in the Bar Tre Dita, you will enjoy a smaller menu of stuzzi, antipasti, handmade pastas and entrees.
The full cocktail, wine list and dessert menu is available in both locations.

    Led by Chef Evan Funke, Tre Dita is Italian for "three fingers," and a nod to the precise thickness of a properly cut bistecca Fiorentina. The “cucina Toscana” serves antipasti, handmade pastas and a seasonal selection of steak and dishes from its wood-fired grill. Guests will enjoy sweeping views of Lake Michigan, the Chicago River and Navy Pier from 40 foot windows.

    THe food is delicious and we loved that portions were generous enough that the four of us could sample some of each other's choices. For four people we had the bread, an appetizer ( 4 pieces) two pastas and one entree. The room was beautiful and acoustically everyone is able to speak with out shouting so we could all hear each other. Our only issue is that they "serve when ready" so food comes sort of randomly. Since we had asked that the appetizer be served with the pasta, we were not given a change of plates . This meant that lots of flavors were mixed together. The entree came last but again no plate change. The server told us they do one plate change -- not sure if that is between the pasta and entree or not but it's a little odd that they are rigid about the courses and when fresh plates would be brought out. We would definitely go back -- so many more wonderful things to try.

    The service was amazing! I’m sorry I don’t remember her name. The chicken liver mousse was perfect. Everyone must share the panzanella (sp) salad. Our steak was ordered medium rare but arrived very rare. Will make a good lunch today when reheated. The pasta was also very good. And no words for dessert….except awesome. We will be back.

    Food and location were amazing! One of the best pasta in my life! However, we were celebrating 2 birthdays (my daughter and i) and there was nothing special. I was expecting something from their side to enhance customer experience!

    The food is excellent. The service was great as well. However, the table that I was given was terrible. It was near the entrance, similar to dining on a waiting area couch with a tiny table, and incredibly uncomfortable. For the cost of the meal, the table that I was given should have been better. They should not use these "tables" for reservations. I recommend avoiding the bar seating area for risk of getting seated at one of these tables. It ruined the experience.

    Food was unique variations of pasta. Ordered small plates for sharing. As an Italian senior who has eaten pasta forever, the least this restaurant can do is focus on serving food HOT, not warm But HOT. Facasia breads were delicious and Manza salad the best. Limon linguine too lemony. Meatballs were dry and they can leave the anchovie paste out. Why would you put that flavor in meatballs! Tagliatelle was the better of the the pastas. It was my son’s 50th Birthday. Evan Funke should be ashamed to give a shot glass size dessert with a mini candle for his birthday dessert. I Our bill was $400 (as most guests are) and that’s all you can offer. I will NOT be back.
