Le célèbre chef Evan Funke basé à Los Angeles et le géant de la restauration de Chicago, Lettuce Entertain You, ont uni leurs forces pour créer cet élégant steakhouse toscan au sein du St. Regis. Cette adresse est déjà devenue le lieu de prédilection pour les occasions spéciales avec ses délicieuses pâtes artisanales, ses steaks de première qualité et sa sélection de plus de 700 bouteilles de vins italiens, mais également grâce à sa vue imprenable sur le lac Michigan et la rivière Chicago, que l'on peut admirer à travers des baies vitrées spectaculaires de 12 mètres de haut.

The “cucina Toscana” serves antipasti, handmade pastas and a seasonal selection of steak and dishes from its wood-fired grill. Guests will enjoy sweeping views of Lake Michigan, the Chicago River and Navy Pier from 40 foot windows.

Generally Tre Dita I was very good, although the extraordinary hype was such that it presented a little bit of a letdown on final analysis. Surprisingly, the dish we liked the least was the pasta course, not because anything was wrong with it, but it was just….pretty standard fare. The Rosa’s focaccia is very good, ditto the cheese-stuffed squash blossoms, chicken liver mousse and blue prawns. The prawns are served with a delicious salsa verde, so save some of the focaccia to sop up the sauce. Yum. The main courses that stood out were the grilled swordfish and the prime ribeye cap. The braised Tuscan kale and roasted potatoes were ok, but nothing special.

It was very nearly a perfect experience. They put us way in the back in the corner of the restaurant so service was a little spotty but once we found the sommelier after a very long time waiting to open our wine, things were perfect. The food is absolutely delicious. We had a group of 6 and ordered a variety from the menu. Standouts were the corn pasta dish, branzino - do not leave any chimichurri behind its incredible- and the barolos on the menu. Would absolutely return.

Great service. Our waiter and the staff were very attentive. Food was good and view was awesome. Where we were sitting seemed a little cramped though.

Don’t celebrate Birthday at Tre Dita! Food is Ok, but not impressive. But with my bill 400$ for 2 main plates and wine at the bar, I didn’t get the expected service and Birthday dessert for my boyfriend. The staff just don’t care.

A beautiful place to celebrate my 40th with my wife. Service was great but our top notch porterhouse fell short of what it should be at this price point. Other than the steak falling short everything else was great.

Enjoyed our dinner tremendously. We had the squash blossoms, beef rib meatballs, blue prawn, lemon linguini and spinach knudi. Everything was perfectly executed. The service was impeccable. Hope to return soon with friends to try even more items on the menu. What a wonderful addition to Chicago’s Italian food scene.

Great new restaurant in Lakeshore East. Beautiful decor, nice view, lots of tables in the bar area where you can eat as well. The tables aren’t as crowded as some other restaurants which makes it easier to converse. We had swordfish and lemon linguine, both delicious.

Me and my boyfriend came to Chicago to celebrate my birthday and heard so many good comments about this new restaurant Tre Dita and decided to try it out. I must say the decor, staff, service & FOOD was absolutely mindblowing. Their service is outstanding and our waiter Tristan was very attentive and knowledgable about the entire menu. I highly recommend ! 1000% FYI : Tortelli (MUST) on the pasta menu.
