Led by Chef Evan Funke, Tre Dita, Italian for "three fingers", pays homage to the precise measurement of bistecca Fiorentina.

Whether you're booking in the dining room at Tre Dita or Bar Tre Dita, you will enjoy the full menu of antipasti, handmade pastas, signature entrees and steaks. The full cocktail, wine list and dessert menu is also available in both locations.

Please note that Tre Dita only accepts reservations 7 days in advance.

    What a phenomenal evening we experienced this weekend at Tre Dita. From the moment you arrive at the Saint Regis and into the restaurant you know it’s going to be special. I booked late and our reservation was in the bar area which concerned me. It’s not a negative in this case. We were seated with an amazing server named Pavlina and a great wine steward. The restaurant was very busy but they were wonderfully attentive and never missed a beat. Everything in the restaurant has a very international vibe, and electricity. I made reservations late so we were seated in the bar, but the restaurant is breathtaking if you can book in advance. We were seated in the bar area, which looks like anything by the bar. It’s beautiful. Looking thru large glass windows across the river into sparkling Chicago. The menu is small enough that you don’t feel overwhelmed. We ordered shareables from every category and loved it all. Do not miss ordering at the beginning the schiacciata it is heavenly. We went on to the Buratta and prosciutto plate.. amazing.. following with several different pastas. All the pastas are made in house behind a chef’s window and they are delicious. This restaurant does not miss a beat. There are great meat and fish choices, you will not leave hungry. Kudos to all involved in this project. It is a winner. Thank you. We will be back again.😋

    Phenomenal birthday experience. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and perfect. Drinks were on point. Service was excellent. Very cool decor and wood paneling. Great acoustics

    Dining at a table in the unimpressive Bar at Tre Dita is not at all like dining in the restaurant, which has the tall windows and well-spaced tables. Service at the Bar was friendly but clumsy. For example, one of the three of us ordered an iced tea, and the other two of us needed more time to look at the wine list. After about 10 minutes, we had to remind our server, when we finally got her attention again, that we were also interested in ordering beverages. We also received the steak menu long after we'd already decided on our food. As in Funke's L.A. restaurant, almost everything was oversalted. The pastas' textures were impeccable, however. Overall, despite being well-dressed and making a reservation, we felt like second-class citizens at our viewless, often-ignored table at the Bar.

    Loved the food and it was a gorgeous space. The only downside was the timing of food. We had 3 main dishes between us and asked for them to come out separately with time in between to catch our breath and let the food settle. Taking our time to eat, digest, and not have a non-stop eating. This was not honored, and the second they picked up one dish the next was out, forcing us to either eat it or let it get cold. I’m sure there are people who like this but if someone asks to space the food out a bit it should be honored. We also get the Tre Dita chocolate cake which was delicious. I would suggest some fresh whipped cream with this to help cut the dense chocolate. And skip the dried cherries or whatever they were as they seemed to be an afterthought. But overall a very nice experience and we would absolutely go back.

    I expected something a bit more refined. It was extremely loud, felt very night clubby and “sceney” Food was outstanding and who doesn’t love the views along the river?!
