    CJ was awesome! Such a great personality and the one man band must come back. He was great! He engaged with the crowd at the bar and surrounding area. Food was delicious as usual

    Mark is hands down our favorite server. He learns each individual, likes and dislikes with food and drink! He will also recommend dishes, even adds to it or takes away. He lets you know you can order something anyway you like. Of course….all the servers are great and nice and it’s nice to know we know their names and like to get to know them. Bartenders are fantastic! You can’t go wrong dining here and the live music on certain nights is spectacular.

    This was our first time at Travinia. We enjoyed the food and had great service (forgot her name - she was the bartender). We used to always go to another Italian restaurant in Lexington, that has now closed. This is our new spot.

    Overall good experience. Waitress took a little too long in taking drink orders as well as food orders and went on for a while before checking to see if we needed refills or anything. She was an overall nice girl though and she had a positive attitude.

    The food was mediocre and lacked the flavors we remember. It seemed like the recipes had changed. Instead of bread, they served rolls that were more crust than bread and didn't taste the same. Despite the restaurant not being full, with only two cooks, everything took a long time, including appetizers and kids' ice cream. Additionally, the server could have done a better job of keeping our drinks full. This used to be one of our favorite places, but sadly, we won't be returning.

    It was... fine. They had no AF beer selection, only Heineken AF and they were out of that. Bolognese was sweet and bland, noodles were mushy. Bruschetta was a little burnt. Not great. Service was fine. Felt like a slightly fancier Italian Applebee's, probably won't be back.

    Overall, I'd give Travinia a D+ -- it's better than some other local places I have visited, but it certainly doesn't live up to the reviews I read previously. The service was good, no problems there. The prices were a little on the high side, but I guess that's the restaurant business overall. The quality of the food was a notch above canned Italian food from the supermarket. The marsala sauce had no mushrooms, or discernable flavor, and was an unusual dark, dark brown color. The pasta sauce had the taste of jarred mass-produced sauce. I did notice that when we had ordered our entrees came out very, very fast ~5-6 minutes. A strong indicator that dishes may be prepared in advance and slammed into a microwave for re-heating. I don't see myself eager to return in the near future. If you're looking for high quality Italian food, I suggest you continue your search. Thank you.
