First visit here and would definitely be back and recommend, staff were so helpful with support for my elderly mother in law , food was excellent. Thank you for a lovely meal celebrating our anniversary

Absolutely enjoyed the experience at the Travellers Rest. Parked in their car park and went for a two hour circular walk which was good, had a table booked for 1.30 and they didn't disappoint. We had the Sunday roast which cooked to perfection,the beef slices were so succulent. We sat in the conservatory part of the pub with a lovely view across the fields, you can see they pride themselves on their service. Would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing service, really good at helping with gf options and took Coeliac very seriously. The food was as delicious too.

This was our second visit. Great food, very dog friendly - they even have a free dog menu to choose from!

Food was good. Tasty home cooked and plenty of it. Lady who brought my wine was lovely- very warm and friendly. However - I appreciate it was very busy. It took a while to order drinks (no one came to us for 20 minutes to offer drinks to be ordered). Another table was seated half an hour after us - who received their drinks and food before us. Such a shame as the setting here is so beautiful. It's local to us - but won't be rushing back to eat. Maybe a drink on the decking when the weather improves- however drinks are very expensive.

We had a delicious Sunday lunch which was a very generous portion and well cooked. The Yorkshire pudding was amazing! Still no room for a dessert! 😉
