Trattoria Valona is a family owned and operated BYO Italian restaurant located at the Victorian Village Shops within the Horsham Willow Grove area of Hatboro. We offer a comforting dining experience by using the freshest ingredients daily to provide our guests with the classics of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine along with a modern take on our daily chef specials. Authentic dishes, quaint dining room, open kitchen, and great service, we strive for our guests to feel right at home when dining with us. Benvenuti from Ilir and Lu!

Always great food and atmosphere Everytime we visit the owner is there to greet you and always makes sure everything is 100percent the way it needs to be to be. Highly recommend.

Food is always delicious there. Everyone is friendly and efficient. Livia, our waitress is so personable and helpful! One of my favorite restaurants!

The table was placed in an uncomfortable spot, and the fact that I had a reservation for a birthday didn't seem to make any difference. If you know the owner, you are treated well. The waitress was excellent. The food was very good. The water on the table was warm,, and they did give me ice, but I didn't feel like attention to details was important to the management. The table right at the doorway was not what I had in mind for the celebration. When we were leaving, they moved the table to a better spot, which only made me think "our" comfort was not important at all.

Dear Elyse! Thank you for your review! We apologize for the table choice but when you came we had no other table available for a seating of 2 guests. We will re-consider that spot and make sure that if you decide to visit us again, we will not sit you there again. There was no message on open table indicating that you were celebrating a birthday, nor when you came letting the server know about the birthday. The owner treats every guest with respect and is very hospitable. It is not true that you must know the owner to be treated well, that is a false statement. The owner came to your table a couple of times and apologized to you. Thank you for visiting us! Happy belated birthday! We wish you a lot of health and happiness! Hope to see you again!

We have really enjoyed dining at this restaurant.The food is always delicious. We had the bronzino which was cooked perfectly. Also the grouper special which was prepared in a lemon butter sauce so so good with a risotto. We had the valona signature salad with thinly sliced grilled pears with arugula, prosciutto and burrata. The service is always great. Highly Recommend this quaint local restaurant !

First time visit to Trattoria Valona. Great food and service. We had several appetizers, salads and a fish, chicken and past entre and everything was delicious.

We had a great dining experience at this restaurant! Very high quality food made with fresh ingredients. I had the pasta special which was the tagliatelle with lobster tail, scallops and shrimp in a fra diavolo sauce. Excellent! My wife had their signature dish of seared scallops on risotto, amazing! We started with the grilled octopus and eggplant rollatini which were both very good and I highly recommend. The food reminded me of the excellent quality we experienced on our recent trip to Italy. The dishes were not drowned in sauce like so many Italian restaurants do here in the states. This is a BYOB restaurant too. The prices were also very reasonable. We will definitely be going back!

We have been here many times but tonight while it was really good, the prices really went up. It was a lil too pricey to go back.

Hello Rochelle! I am sorry to hear that you will not come back because of the prices. The prices are relative to the cost of the food we buy daily and the prices are way too high which really has an effect on the menu prices. We always try to be very reasonable and give the best prices. We hope to see you again!

Food is always great. Waitstaff very attentive and welcoming. Fried calamari, shrimp scampi and the osso bucco delicious. We always enjoy dining here. Bring cash as they charge 4% for credit cards.

This has become our new go to place. Food was great. Service spot on. Nice to be greeted by the owner who personally came over twice to chat with us during our dinner. The perfect byob. Be back again soon.
