We are excited to offer Riposino, a 2-course ‘Quick Lunch Break' for $24 per person. Enjoy it every Monday-Friday from 11am-3pm for dine-in only! Join us with coworkers or friends to enjoy items on our delicious lunch menu at a great price! Whether you want to have a quick business lunch or a long, leisurely outing with friends, just let your server know and they will accommodate you. Reservations are recommended, but not necessary, as the menu will be offered at the bar, in the dining room and on the terrace.

The service during this visit fell short of expectations. The server was not attentive and didn’t provide menu specials provided to others during the ordering process. While I’ve dined here many times and typically had excellent experiences, this time was disappointing. The server didn’t check on us after our food arrived, and we experienced long waits to place our order and to receive the bill. While we remained patient, understanding it was Christmas Eve, the overall experience didn’t meet the usual high standards of this establishment.

Was there for Christmas Eve dinner and the place was packed. The team did a great job of managing the surge. Except for being out of the lamb that one of us ordered, everything was delicious.

Food and flavors were delicious. Had iced tea with my meal, the server brought me the first glass and never came back to refill my glass,!thankfully I had water. Asked for a cup of coffee with my dessert never brought creamer for my coffee and the packages of sugar were wet. I enjoyed my meal but don’t think I’ll be going back.

Great food, but they weren’t prepared for Christmas Eve. Most reservations weren’t seated until ~15-30 minutes after the reservation time

Be careful when booking with OpenTable. Booked fixed price lunch for my 7 friends. I was paying but it was a good price for 2 course fixed menu. Despite confirming booking day before once seated and drinks ordered, restaurant would not honour booking price or menu. They just advised only dinner menu available and kitchen was ‘slammed’. Confirmed in writing with Open Table and showed Manager booking. The $198 agreed price increased to double. One dish came out inedible and diner ended up just with an appetiser. We sat in the climate controlled outdoor seating area. When it rained we were dry but extremely cold. Not a good experience and agreement would not be upheld. Will not return. OpenTable not a great idea as no-one takes responsibility.

This was Christmas Eve Eve, so this review is based on that busy evening. We arrived so hostess directed us to the bar to wait for our table. Bartender gave great suggestions. Restaurant was very busy. Service started out well, but as the restaurant continued being busy, we did feel a bit neglected. Appetizers, we all agreed, were the best part of the meal - burrata (hard to mess up), Octopus was very tender, and the Wood Fried oysters were small but delicious. The rest of our meal was just ok and we were tired of waiting so long between courses and such that we opted not to go for dessert. Again, busy night so maybe it would be better on a less busy night. I will say, however, my experience with Houston restaurants is that often the restaurant gets a higher rating than they should do to the ambience. This restaurant had that - 5 stars. However, the food, on this night, was 2-3.

Brought my family here for the first time and everyone liked it. Family from Austin said they would definitely like to come back. It was a great experience for the family and completed a memorable evening together over the holidays. Everyone also enjoyed the ambiance in the covered terrace.

Trattoria Sofia never disappoints! They were incredibly accommodating for our party of 6, including a baby (7). While this wasn’t our first time dining here, it was our first time bringing a baby, and the experience was still amazing. The food NEVER misses—every dish is always perfectly crafted—and the service is consistently top-notch. Whether it’s a special occasion or just a casual dinner, this place always delivers. Highly recommend!
