Chef Luciano Canova was born in 1949, on a small farm just outside of Rome, Italy. Chef Luciano grew up with his parents & grandparents where good food, using the freshest of ingredients, was always a staple. His passion for food was instilled in him as a small child in his home and led him to attend the prestigious Culinary Institute of Italy. After graduating, Luciano worked all around the world perfecting his craft in places like Switzerland, Germany, and on a luxury cruise line. 

The Torre Restaurant Group family of restaurants has grown to serve customers throughout Southern New England with authentic Italian food. We have eight locations, all offering different ways to explore the many tastes of Italy! Our newest location here in Mansfield, is the first location that merges all our dining concepts into one. We look forward to serving and welcoming Torre Restaurant Group to the Mansfield Community.

4 dinners, all excellent. Service was timely as was food delivery. Price was reasonable. No complaints.

This was my second visit in the last 3 weeks. Trattoria Romana is one of my favorite restaurants. The service has been an issue on these last 2 visits. WE are seated when we arrive. Someone stops by to fill up our water glasses. Then we wait. Each visit we waited for 15-20 minutes and then spoke to the hostess. A server then stops by and apologizes and takes our order We have noticed that after the server stops by when other parties are seated they are taken care of immediately. I hope they are able to resolve their service issues.

Food and server were great! However, our pizza took much too long to be prepared/baked before we could eat it.

First time and it won’t be the last! What an amazing place. I had pizza which was delicious. My husband had the salmon and pasta which he thoroughly enjoyed. 5 stars all around!!

The food was amazing , the drinks were good , but unfortunately our waitress was rude . She also wasn’t helpful with food allergies at all . My sister has a gluten allergy and she ordered gluten-free pasta with meatballs. The waitress did not tell us that the meatballs had gluten in them. We had to ask for gluten-free bread several times. She seemed very unhappy. We then went to get a drink at the bar and the bartender was wonderful and friendly .
