We had the opportunity to enjoy dinner outside and it was lovely. The specials and regular appetizers and entrees were all delicious. I now know why this is a favorite for my dad. We will be back.

Wonderful food. It’s a BYOB so we brought our own wine. Sat outside so there is a degree of traffic noise to contend with but it wasn’t too bad. Across the street was a band playing so it added to the ambiance of outdoor dining! Overall it was a great experience. We had the seared scallops as an app along with/ a meatball pesto special app. For entree I had Bocconcini which was hearty and delicious. Ate less than half and took the rest home. My husband had a seafood medley special. I can’t honestly remember what it was but he ate it all up! Their menu is way above the typical Italian menu one usually finds locally. There are many seafood options and everything we had was top notch!

We have never dined here before. All 3 of us loved our entrees. I had a veal dish w mushrooms and sauce. My husband ordered a seafood pasta special dish. Our friend ordered another seafood special as well. We had generous appetizers! I ordered a Mediterranean salad that was very well made, and was so big I took 1/2 home for lunch the next day. The crab bite appetizer is very tasty. And we also ordered a second appetizer. They have excellent wait staff. Our guy was Klevin, and he was very helpful and attentive, plus was very friendly. Our only issue was we chose to eat outside, not realizing how noisy and busy State Street was in the evening. We could hardly hear each other ! I’d recommend eating inside but it’s not so interesting. People watching always adds to our evenings out.

La Tavola is a local treasure. Everything was exceptional, per usual! My favorite restaurant in the area, hands down. Delicious food, fantastic ambience, top-quality service. The best!

We dined outside and had the most enjoyable experience. Had the halibut special and would say the finest preparation I ever experienced. The menu has multiple yummy options. Highly recommend !

Tried this restaurant for the first time. Appetizers and salads were great. Pasta and entrees were awful. Carbonara tasted like fish and the Shrimp & Crab Meat Fusilli Lunghi was very bland. Such a shame. Our server was new and very attentive. Sorry to say we will not return.

This was our first visit and it did not disappoint. We sat outside and listened to the live music from across the street. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely dine here again.
