Service was great but food took entirely too long to come out. Dining room was extremely loud.

Overall food was good. My lasagna with bolognese and bechamel was good, but not cooked enough, cheese was not melted on top, and the pasta itself was a bit mushy. But overall it was pretty tasty and i ate it all. Wife got pappardelle with seafood. Pasta good , sauce excellent, all the seafood was good except the mussels, they were raw in the middle. She ate it except left the mussels. I never complain at restaurants but the manager came by and asked, so i told him. I asked for NOTHING, just letting him know, but he sent over a delicious lemon cake dessert anyway. He was extremely professional. Overall, i would try it again and see if it ticked up a notch or two. Good restaurant just needs a little tweaking.

We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Excellent service and our meals were very good. We would definitely go back.

First time dining here. Holiday decor was wonderful, as was our very knowledgeable and efficient waiter. Ordered appetizers and entrees, with his feedback on our choices. House wine was very good and a nice surprise, since we did not realize the restaurant was byob. Everything was delicious, fresh and served hot - even the soup! Dessert was also great. Only criticism is that the special entree - a fish selection - was overpriced. We will definitely be back. This was a wonder find in the lovely regentrified town of Kennett Square, PA.

Always a great meal and they just updated their menu to add some meat dishes. Mushroom appetizer (usually a special) and scallop appetizer are to die for. Excellent quality ingredients, well cooked and served by a friendly staff.

Food was absolutly delicious. Octopus was cooked perfectly. Very tender. Lobster ravioli was the best my wife ever had. Highly recommend. Staff was very friendly, courteous and quick. Can not say enough good things.

Authentic Italian food. The truffle risotto was as delicious as the one I had in Florence a few months ago. Wait staff was excellent and attentive. I highly recommend Trattoria La Tavola.

The atmosphere was lovely and the food delicious! Our group tried a variety of pastas, along with starting with their caesar and bruschetta, and ending with cannolis. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the quality of food, and will be back! The BYOB is also fabulous - we brought a red and white wine, and the ease of everything contributed to the overall value as well. The service was impeccable and we can’t wait to go back.
