The food at Tratoria Ibleo is really nice, delicious pizzas! Although the thing that lets it down is the ambience, it's quite dirty and a bit grubby and needs a full renovation i would say.

We booked a table for a party of 5 including one infant. From here on, the service was outstanding and the food was great. Service, the waitress really took care of us, could not fault it at all. food, the portions were really good and the food itself was really nice, everything arrived hot and not a single one of us could say anything but good things. I would recommend this restaurant, I would definitely go back, its a nice little family owned place, that does great pizza and pasta without the formalities, it actually reminded me of a trattoria I visited in Rome a few years back, which speaks dividends.

Upon arrival I was told that there was nothing available, despite the fact I had a booking and was never asked if I had a booking. After having to show my OpenTable confirmation, the waitress said we could have a table, which at the time had what I assume was staff members sitting at it, and we could wait by the bar. After roughly 30 minutes we were given our table, 15 minutes after my booking time. The food was tasty and portion sizes were hearty as I've seen in other reviews. I had the chicken with crabmeat and prawns in a brandy sauce, which was a strange combination that I'm not sure worked. The seafood linguine and the Bolognese were better and as good as most other Italian restaurants.

This restaurant is far more authentic offering as opposed to your more commercial Zizzi's etc - The portions were massive, and excellent value and the staff were very good and on hand. It's the second time we have come back to this place as we were so impressed first time around.

Like the food in this restaurant a lot, but restaurant could do with some refurbishment and would also like to see staff and chefs in clean uniforms needs looking at, but the food is delicious!
