Trattoria Demi has been a local favorite for over two decades. Eating here is like going to a small Trattoria in Sicily. Order the Italian classic Linguine Marinara with Meatballs, and you will find this to be true. The sauce is home made daily and the meatballs have a loyal following! I had the mussels and clams, my wife had cheese ravioli, both entrees were well prepared and delicious. We sat outside and it was beautiful there was a light breeze, even though we were sitting next to the street the noise level was manageable. The only downside was our server while she handled all the duties of a good server she had little to no personality, not everyone likes conversation but when invited into one it would have been nice to get a response.

Very nice small Trattoria. Good food and service. There were several families with children and the noise level was pretty high. Nice wine list, attentive wait people and great red sauce. Bathrooms, which are shared with other suites in the building could have been cleaner but I don’t blame the restaurant for that!

Fantastic pasta and appetizers and tender/tasty veal. Couldn’t believe what a great value it is for such terrific food (we’re Italians from NY/NJ and have very high standards for Italian restaurants). Even the bottle of barbera we shared at less than $35 was on point. To top it off, my wife left her cheap reading glasses there and they called to let us know. A truly fine independent gem of a little restaurant.

The food as usual was very good. Due to the lack of sound absorption materials the space was very noisy. Making it difficult at times to hear other people sitting at our table of 3. Service has always been hit or miss, but it’s usually ok. However, the quality of the food and the value are worth overlooking the noise and service.

It was a busy night; however, the food was excellent and came out quickly after we ordered. We will be returning soon.

We had the shrimp risotto, chick parm and the Bronzini and they were all great and reasonably priced. There we three of us and the noise level just made it a bit difficult to hear each other. But would definitely return and recommend.

My husband and I visited Trattoria Demi on a Friday night around 7pm. The place was busy, with some background music playing but it was not loud; easy to talk and maintain a conversation. Service was friendly and efficient.We shared the Caesar, which was quite large and delicious, very light with not too much dressing, very fresh. I had the Zita Primavera which is also very light, vegetarian with an olive oil/ herb sauce (not cream or marinara). It was delicious, so much food, we had leftover. The complimentary bread and butter was also fresh and tasty. Prices are very reasonable: my dish was around $15 for the pasta. I had a glass of Rose and my husband had a glass of Italian red: I am picky about my Rose wine, but this one was really crisp and delicious. The wine by glass was also reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
