Produced by Franco, the show goes on the last Sunday of each month, always with different artists, comprised of sopranos and tenors from the Kennedy Center. Great ambience, service and food! Live piano music was great. Our server was very cordial, he made us feel at home.

Overpriced menu for NYE ($85 per person), food was given to wrong people each time with several items just not being what was ordered as well, food took 2 hours to come out, also gave somebody next to us food they were allergic to after given prior warning.

New Years Eve dinner; ordered from a simple menu as soon as we were seated. They were out of all but one desert option. After an hour wait I was told they were out of the main course I ordered. It took almost an hour and a half for our main course to arrive from when we ordered. soup was cold, steaks were over salted. Terrible dinner overall. Way overpriced.

It took over an hour and half for the food, over priced. Food was cold. Looked like they were short handed but no excuse for the cold food and wait time.

New Year’s Eve can be a tough evening for a restaurant to shine. Staff was very nice, but food was slow in coming out in general. It took quite a while for our entrees to arrive, well after a table seated after us - we all had the same prix fixe limited menu options. The filet mignon was good, as were our cocktails. Our dinner seating was 8 pm, and they were already out of San Giovese wine option, and when dessert was to be served they advised us that they could no longer fill our order of tiramisu and mousse. That was disappointing at an Italian restaurant. Finally, when the bill came, it was the wrong one with different drink orders reflected. It took a few minutes to sort it out

This restaurant was sadly not prepared for New Years Eve, which is shocking considering this is a very busy night for most restaurants. There was a set menu which wasn’t posted to their website or social media, they were extremely under staffed. The food was sub par. Our waiter forgot what we ordered easily 8 times and he kept coming back to the table for us to remind him what we ordered (there was only 2 of us …). The restaurant is filthy so you can only imagine what the bathrooms are like. We waited 45 minutes to receive our refrigerated Sysco desserts. At that point we just asked for them to go and then waited another 20 minutes for the bill. It was a very longgggg and disappointing New Year’s Eve dinner.

My partner and I made a reservation on OpenTable and dined here on NYE. The host first seated us up stairs by a piano, then removed us from the table and moved us downstairs next to the cold front door, where you could hear the kitchen staff working/shouting. We were then informed there was a special prix fixe menu. We were not made aware of the prix fixe menu until this point, and even worse, the price was not disclosed on the menu. This is not normal. For reference, the Michelin star restaurant in DC had their NYE prix fixe menu and price disclosed during the online reservation. We've dined at 3-star Michelin restaurants in Manhattan, and they disclose their prices. The caprese appetizer was very sad; I would bet money they used that store-bought, pre-cut log of mozzarella cheese. You know the brand I'm talking about. Service was slow, but that's understandable for being NYE. They charge an additional $10 for garlic bread, which was more like texas toast; an unusual choice for an Italian place. I had to climb over another woman to access the door to the hallway for the bathroom. I feel bad for disrupting her dinner, but I'm not sure why the restaurant chose to put a table and chairs right against the door. That may even violate building code, who knows. We only discovered the prix fixe menu price when the bill arrived; nearly $100 each. Very overpriced for the lack of quality in food. Will not be returning sadly.

Opera Night was wonderful. Carlos is a fabulous artist. It was a sell out!! you should have him perform again.

Overbooked reservations on Christmas Eve. Even though we had a reservation, we would have had to wait an hour or more.
