Trattoria Carina is a casual neighborhood Italian restaurant from the same family as Pub & Kitchen, focused on providing delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere at a great value. Located on the corner of 22nd and Spruce, it’s a charming and easygoing 32-seat trattoria, whose name means “Little Darling” in Italian. The menu changes seasonally, but always features a variety of homemade pastas and classic Italian dishes made up of the freshest ingredients. Trattoria Carina has a small bar program, featuring Italian wines by the glass, seasonal beer options, and a selection of cocktails including Negronis and Aperol spritzes. Should guests choose to BYO, there is no corkage fee. Trattoria Carina is open seven days a week for dinner starting at 4:30 PM.

    Pasta was vey overcooked. The chicken was dry the sauce was ordinary. Bread was good

    The spicy crab pasta was amazing! The chicken Parmesan was ordered at table next to us and highly recommended, we ordered too.

    Perfect evening for dining outside. We split the fennel, burrata and orange salad which was large enough to do, and then both opted for pasta - tagliatelle bolognese for my dining partner and spicy crab for me. Both enjoyable and even some leftovers to bring home. Not far from home. A perfect neighbourhood restaurant 😊

    Slow service but kitchen was really busy. Would have been nice for the server to check up on us at least once. Chicken parm was overdone and could have used a bit more seasoning. The side of pasta was flavorless. Portion size was huge - can easily split it. Nice ambience however. Would be nice to get a glass of wine and an appetizer.

    Lauren is the best and so is the food! Every dish is cooked to perfection! The meatballs and octopus are by far the best apps! The bolognese and cacio and Pepe are undefeated!!
