The food is always so flavorful and fresh. The owner and weight staff always make you feel so welcome and appreciated. We love sitting at the bar because it has such a lovely atmosphere.

Had been to this establishment once before for a business lunch but this was first time for dinner. Unusually easy to get a reservation on short notice for 2 at prime time on a Saturday night - what a delight that was. You know you are in for a good meal when the bread is hot and fresh and good and is accompanied by a fine tomato eggplant spread. So many places, if the bread is meh, the rest of the meal is the same. Specials are what makes the meal. Extensive and covering every category. Had the mushroom soup special that was like no other anywhere ever. Thick and dark and rich, not the usual light cream soup with a few mushroom bits floating. Grilled shrimp appetizer served on a bed of salad had the shrimp out of the shell. Both of those plates were cleaned. Then another pasta special, very thin spaghetti served in a white truffle cream sauce. That was so fine. Also rich but not heavy, flavorful without being overpowering. Glad there was bread left over to take up every last drop of that sauce. Also had their linguini with white clam sauce. Those two plates were cleaned. I have seen another review here that liked the food but felt the pricing was high for what you get. Completely disagree! Pricing for everything including a glass of fine super Tuscan and a called gin and tonic were reasonable. Expected to pay more, happy not to, and no surcharge for credit cards. Now have a further inducement to come back often. And server Nadi also was a pleasure. Energetic with purpose. His descriptions of the specials were masterful and he made sure to come back to make sure we were satisfied. Which we surely were. Double espresso is a true double. Single espresso is a full single. And they bring biscotti to the table before asking about dessert (which we skipped this time). Look forward to being back often, now that we have discovered this convenient neighborhood gem that we had driven by dozens of time on the way to someplace else.

Overall our experience was great. The tomato/eggplant dip for bread was excellent! Service was great! Pasta and fish was perfect!

Food is always delicious. Service was a little slow tonight. Apps and dinner order given fairly quickly (not rushed though) but the food took a long time to get to us.
