   Great Thanksgiving meal - good service, they should have some light music and a more extensive wine list.

   Overall the experience was good. Only negative was the steak was over cooked. The staff offered to remake a new one however decided to eat it instead of waiting for a new one. They did however comp our desert to make it right. If steak was cooked properly from the start would have given it 5 stars.

   The weight staff is wonderful. Sitting outside is also wonderful, depending upon whether there are a lot of wasp or hornets whatever they call them. The food is good, but it just isn’t a reason to eat at the restaurant. We eat there because it’s convenient to where we are staying. But the place is in town are as good or much better. This property has a lot of potential, but they’re probably some undertones that the consumer cannot see the keep it from blossoming.

   We were staying at Eagle Ranch and took advantage of the restaurant twice for dinner. The restaurant/clubhouse is situated in one of the most beautiful spots in the Shuswap. The views are spectacular. The staff are warm and friendly. We were helped quickly and they couldn’t do enough for us. However service was inconsistent. One table hears the specials.The next table doesn’t. Seems important to book ahead but no one ever asked about our reso when we arrived. I don’t know where the manager is but he’s not on the floor. So staff are doing the best they can. The place lacks polish. And this place deserves some polish. Food was good. I had the salmon one night. Very good. Pad Thai not great. Excellent gin martini and old fashioned! There was a wedding while we were there. Couple was married at the gazebo that looks out over the lake and the town of Invermere. Wowza! Staff seemed very knowledgeable on wines available. Some gf meals available which was very much appreciated. We’d go back. But the finer things there could use a little tweaking. Just a couple more steps to Awesome.

   We were disappointed to say the least. I booked a table for a birthday celebration, only to find out when we got there that the kitchen closed at 7pm. The staff seemed surprised that I was able to book on Open Table, they had no notification of a reservation. Not that they even looked. They had just open for the season on May 1. They will need to do much better to be successful this summer.

   We had calamari for an appetizer & the classic burger with Caesar salad and my husband tried the Caesar fries. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted great! Prices were a bit high, but the quality and atmosphere was worth it.

   Very rushed. We were seated at 6:30pm, ordered our drinks and food. Our starters came and whilst we were eating, our mains came out “because the kitchen wanted to close up for the night”. We then went on to have a dessert, paid and were out by 7:45pm. Not a relaxed & romantic anniversary dinner that we had planned.

   We stayed on site, so the location was great. Beautiful scenery overall. Our sever was very friendly and attentive. Food was very good, we even stayed for dessert, which we never do. We can’t wait to go back.

    They ran out of steaks, tuna, nachos and Vodka so the selection was very limited. It took an hour for the appetizers to arrive!! Otherwise really good. Our server was great. None of the issues were on him.
