TOZI Grand Cafe is an Italian restaurant bringing the classic elegance of Europe’s Grand Cafes to the Battersea Power Station neighbourhood.

Suiting all occasions throughout the day with Italian twists on brunch, exceptional antipasti, afternoon tea, elegant lunches and dinners; all within a stylish art-centric destination dining room with dramatic works by renowned creative Jaime Hayon.

The treasures of Italian cuisine and drink showcase throughout the menu, freshly made pasta including lobster linguine and classic dishes such as veal Milanese will delight. The Pasticceria Mignon is freshly baked in-house and offers the best of Italian bakery and pastry craft. For those not familiar with The Kids' Table, their team are on a mission to offer parents the freedom to enjoy a long lunch in peace and provide an equally enjoyable experience for children who will be occupied with arts, crafts and games to spend hours getting creative. Lovely spot at Battersea and we had a nice window booth. Food excellent and cocktails very well made. We loved everything about it and would return.

We came for a late lunch and the restaurant was very quiet despite this service was very slow and we had to wait a long time for our order to be taken. When we did have our order taken the waitress didn't seem very aware of what was available having to go and check a few times when each one of us requested something. Two of our group requested the afternoon tea and were told this had to be pre-ordered. When booking this table there was no mention of afternoon tea needing pre-booking nor did it state this on the menu. That being said, the waitress spoke to the chef who accommodated our request. This was greatly appreciated. The afternoon tea was thoroughly enjoyed, and it was commented on that it was refreshing to have an alternative one to the usual English Afternoon Tea. The other dishes ordered on our table were enjoyed. A couple of negative points - our table was never offered a second round of drinks and never offered the option of desserts. As the service was so slow and it was very hard to catch one of the few people working, we made the decision to leave without having anything else. Where we were sat was also very cold due to quite a strong draught - I believe this was coming from the double doors leading to the hotel? Overall, we enjoyed our food, and would recommend the afternoon tea, just other details which let the experience down.

A lovely place on the ground floor. Set menu was reasonably priced and delicious. 2 starter options were salads and you could see these being made fresh at the open station. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals with clear plates all round. Service was very professional. Was a very enjoyable lunch and would recommend as a lovely place to eat.

We were looking for an afternoon tea with a difference and as lovers of Italy Tozi looked like a good option. It did not disappoint with three generous of savoury and sweet items to share. The lower layer had outstanding cured meats and cheeses along with vegetables on focaccia and prosciutto and mozzarella on ciabatta. The Sardinian bread was a nice touch. Next up was the middle layer of four Maritozzi, light brioche filled with jam and cream, a favourite in Rome. We were defrated by these and took two home! Cannoli, choux and heavenly Valhorona chocolate tarts were a great ending. Salah and the team made us very welcome in smart surroundings and a mixed clientele including children - the Italian way.

Nice place , but service could be better - “seafood pasta” only has a couple of shrimp despite waitress saying it was “mixed seafood and shellfish” - no steak knives provided for two steak orders , had to ask - only brought one .. waitress didn’t really understand or know the menu - considering the price if the dishes the services needs to be better. Food was good though :)

Loved our visit last night. The staff are incredibly lovely and service was always with a smile. The spaghetti carcio e Pepe was the reason we went and the reason I left with a happy heart! Served in a massive wheel of parmesan - we asked for it to stay in longer to get that extra scoop of cheese and yet the flavours were sublime with the pepper still being dominant. I died and went to my version of cheese heaven. Only complaint is they wouldn't let me take the wheel home as a take away! Once your dinner is finished (if you can move) go upstairs to have a cocktail at join with a view of the iconic Battersea Powerstation towers.

A lovely restaurant we've been to a few times since it opened but last night was pretty awful. Desperately under staffed, delays in food arriving, erroneous charges on bill. Sorta gave up after one course. Even had to go up and fetch our own water! Hope it improves as it should be a great restaurant just like its sister in Pimlico.

Accomplished and authentic Italian food in a contemporary setting with friendly and professional service. The ravioli with white truffle was heavenly and even a simple rocket and parmesan salad was elevated to the level of an assumption thanks to the quality of its ingredients. A concise and excellent wine list comprises a vade mecum of some of the best wines from each region including an excellent Sangiovese and Franciacorta. Yummy, yummy, yummy; we need more places like Tozi.
