Bartender was pretty rude to the servers. Seemed like his normal shtick. Took away from the meal.

Was greeted as soon as I stepped into the lobby. I was meeting a friend who was retiring after 38 yrs of volunteer work for the Boone County Foster Care Review Board. My friend was already seated when I got there. The waitress came quickly over to the table and took my drink order. I had brought a large bouquet of flowers and she asked if it was her birthday and was told why I gave them to her. We each ordered the chicken salad croissant. I asked for no tomato or pickle on mine as I am allergic to tomatoes. We received our order fairly quickly but there was tomato and pickle on my sandwich and plate. Waitress came over and asked how our food was and I told her I asked for no tomato or pickle and all she said was oh. I had to take them off my plate. They had toasted the croissant and one half of the sandwich was almost completely void of chicken salad while the other half was over stuffed. The fries and coleslaw were very good. It would have been nice if they had given my friend a dessert for her retirement but they didn’t. Disappointed in the food quality and execution. I have been to the Greyhound Tavern which is part of this restaurant group and it is so much better. They need to look at their orders, not toast the croissant and plate the food better. We both felt rushed at the end of our visit even though it wasn’t busy. I won’t be back as Greyhound Tavern is far better.

We were seated next to two larger parties, so the noise level was a bit high, however, everything was wonderful. Will definitely be eating there again. Food and service were amazing.

Best place in Boone County for a meal, food is good, very quiet, service good, menu a little small but good food!

Our server was great! We celebrated my sister's bday and she took good care of us. And gave us a berry cobbler. Yum! We love Tousey House and all your menu items. Enjoyed the outside deck for our lunch!

This is an antique inn, one which has endured over the years. What could be more comfortable? The service is civilized, so servers do not regard us as their personal friends. Yet they are courteous and extremely pleasant. The kitchen has evolved into a more modern presentation than in the past. All quite fine. Jo Anne Warren, Bellevue KY

I much prefer dinner menu over brunch menu, but the banana bread French toast is a delight. So is the bourbon slush

We are regulars for Sunday brunch and everything we have tried has been delicious. The service is great and the staff are always friendly and helpful. We love Tousey!!
