Tottington Manor is beautifully situated in the South Downs National Park with hillside and farmland views, yet it is just 10 minutes from the A23 at Pyecombe and the A27 at Shoreham.

With a menu showcasing the best of local ingredients cooked fresh each day by our team of chefs, you can enjoy dinner in our restaurant, Terra, or outside on our decking, or in winter time, choose our more relaxed fire side Olive Restaurant.

In addition we have a number of private dining options available from 6 to 95.

Our Downs Suite is completely separate with its own private garden, stretch tent and bar and is ideal for family celebrations, parties and of course Weddings. Enjoy the spectacular views in Summer or the roaring open fire in winter, afternoon tea is a delightful occasion at any time of year. A debit/credit card is required at the point of booking, Because Afternoon Teas are created fresh for each order any cancellations within 48hrs the full charge may be taken against the stored card.

Our welcome was very warm, the food was excellent, served quickly by friendly staff, piping hot and delicious. The ambience and noise level was just right. Low enough to hear each other talk but loud enough to not feel self conscious. I would highly recommend Terra at Tottington Manor. It’s very high quality, using local produce were possible, yet unpretentious .

An amazing place to dine in beautiful surroundings, attentive staff who welcomed us warmly as we stepped into the door. A lovely ambience and the food was second to none! It was my wifes birthday and we had never been here before so it was an absolute treat, we were recommended by some friends and we were not disappointed. Have a cocktail, they are sublime, mixed with care with great ingredients. Wonderful locally sourced produced served both to please the eye and the pallet, thank you guys for an amazing evening.

We travelled for nearly an hour to get to Tottington... so were hoping it was worth the drive! Service very good, staff very friendly and polite. Only niggle - I was asked if I wanted ice in my drink. I said no thank you - but it came with ice anyway! We all loved the food. Would return without hesitation.

First time there and favourably impressed. Food was very edible and staff friendly and efficient. Will definitely go again.

A perfect place for a special occasion - we had a fantastic meal accompanied by the Terra Garden Spritz to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary. The staff congratulated us & made our dining experience very special.

Staff attending table were excellent. Unfortunately a wedding was in progress at the time which I feel must have placed some strain on the kitchen. I ordered chilli clams to start which were overcooked and only tasted of quite fiery chilli including the seeds so I could have been having a phall in our local Indian. Also no finger bowls were provided so it was also a little messy trying to eat it. To follow we both had lemon sole which was well cooked but was served with a mass of “roasted” new potatoes and an attempt at salad which lacked any finesse or dressing. Quite disappointing and needless to say most of the accompaniments remained untouched. Our waitress kindly left off any service charge but I tipped anyway as they were obviously quite stressed
