Tottington Manor is beautifully situated in the South Downs National Park with hillside and farmland views, yet it is just 10 minutes from the A23 at Pyecombe and the A27 at Shoreham.

With a menu showcasing the best of local ingredients cooked fresh each day by our team of chefs, you can enjoy dinner in our restaurant, Terra, or outside on our decking, or in winter time, choose our more relaxed fire side Olive Restaurant.

In addition we have a number of private dining options available from 6 to 95.

Our Downs Suite is completely separate with its own private garden, stretch tent and bar and is ideal for family celebrations, parties and of course Weddings. Enjoy the spectacular views in Summer or the roaring open fire in winter, afternoon tea is a delightful occasion at any time of year. A debit/credit card is required at the point of booking, Because Afternoon Teas are created fresh for each order any cancellations within 48hrs the full charge may be taken against the stored card.

We absolutely loved it and we will be back, for sure. Absolute plus points: - food, exceptional - service, fantastic - wine, great - environment, wonderful - value, spot on - memorable, provided a birthday surprise for partner - Gluten Free? Made something usually so annoying to handle an absolute breeze! Couldn’t recommend highly enough! Slight improvement would be the acoustics. When it was full, the volume got a little ‘much’. It’s been less than 24 hours since we’ve dined and I have recommended this place to 8 people already. Thank you for such a wonderful evening and we truly will be back really very soon! 🙏🏻

A beautiful setting. The Terra restaurant was lovely and cosy, the staff were so friendly and polite. The afternoon tea was delicious, could have done with more jam and clotted cream please. Will definitely go back, I perfect place for a special occasion.

The Terra restaurant is lovely for a birthday or Anniversary or special occasion. I was treating a special friend who I hadn’t seen for some time.

We ate at the Terra restaurant. My daughter & I had the spicy lamb dish & my mum had the baked trout. All were beautifully presented & were really tasty. Our waitress was really smilie & polite. The restaurant had a beautiful calm relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it.

Overall it was a lovely experience although rather disappointing when we arrived. I had booked online but when we got there our table was not ready and they seemed flustered rushing to get it ready and we stood in the bar waiting. Our order was taken but it didn’t arrive and we had to do our order with another member of staff. It would not put me off as the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

The room decor was superb, very tasteful and comfortable for a fine dining experience. The selection on the menu was interesting, the only snag was that the cocktail menu was tucked in the back of the main menu, and we didn't find it until after we had ordered. The service was bit slow, but they had a wedding on and a big party in the Terra restaurant, and it was Saturday evening after all, so we didn't mind.
