Just as its name implies, Toss Pizzeria and Pub in Austin, TX specialty is in hand thrown, New York style pizzas. Toppings will range from classic pizza toppings to some unique Texas Style selections. Diners can watch the food being made and savor the stylish indoor and outdoor dining areas.

Toss Pizzeria was awesome, food was great, and our server was very accommodating and friendly. We had some friends in town that wanted some good pizza and wings- Toss delivered on every level. We will definitely be back. Pro tip, they don’t receive the open table reservations. Just show up and you’ll get seated in a timely manner. If you have a larger party just call in to the restaurant and they’ll take care of you.

Good pizza! Great wings! Friendly service in a casual atmosphere. A lot more kids than I expected and a few big groups of people but it makes sense. Recommended.

Toss never disappoints! The food is consistently great, along with the service. It's nice to see the same staff each time we go. You get the sense it's a good working environment and it shows in the way they serve customers.

I was truly dissatisfied with service/waitress today. The food was amazing, but there was definitely some miscommunication with one of the people who took our drink order. I asked for a green margarita, advertised on instagram as frozen, so I assumed it would come frozen. When our waitress delivered the drinks, I said oh well I thought they were supposed to be frozen. She asked if that’s how we asked for them I said no, but that’s not how it was advertised on instagram so i assumed if we wanted the green margs they would be frozen. The person who took the order didn’t ask either, so I thought we were on the same page. Our waitress ended up bringing me frozen, but I hadn’t touched the marg on the rocks still. After a few times of coming to our table and she hadn’t taken it back, I assumed it was ours to keep for the mixup. We mainly just used it for our instagram and my fiancé took a sip. When it was time to pay, I didn’t like that I was not able to view our bill before the waitress put in my card. I had the receipt texted to my phone and saw I was charged the margarita which at thst point it was still full and watered down. I decided to get the waitress attention to ask why we were charged for the margarita that we didn’t touch at which my fiancé noticed I paid for it and to not waste money drank it before the waitress had a chance to come over. I mentioned to her never mind, it looks like we’re gonna make this margarita work. I wouldn’t have minded paying for another margarita, if we wanted a second one, but this one was watered down and we are not drinkers so after one drink we’re usually fine. I felt like the waitress really didn’t care to be friendly or try to let me know she apologizes for any mix up. She just kind of walked away after that incident, didn’t comment on the situation. Which makes me think she purposely didn’t take off the second drink and charged my card before I could look at the bill because if she sells more, her tip is bigger….

Only problem here , is the parking- just one shared entrance/exit- not enough parking for the amount of people who really want good beer and some tasty pizza !

We made a reservation for a party of three for outside. When we arrived we were greeted with, “ sit anywhere you’d like”. It looked like they were having a party or something outside, so we had to sit inside. They don’t seem to be aware of their Open Table requests. Then it was about 10 minutes before a server greeted us( server #1) and took our order ( server #2) 20 minutes before we had a drink, not even water. We had appetizers and food was good! But, I ordered some wings and cheese bread to go and it took a pretty long time. So long that I finished my beer and was sitting at the table with nothing ( great pre bussing job server #2) So then I started to get the “ anything else we can get you?” question( server #3, bartender or manager). So I had to explain I was still waiting on to go food. This did not help me get my to go food any faster. Not sure if it was the private party or a general management issue, but probably won’t e returning.

I would chose Home Slice over this. The employees are very kind though. The pizza is just ok, the wings are just ok, and the cocktails taste mainly like mix.
