Food was fabulous. Service was very good but quite slow-big parties in the hotel. Dinner took 2 hours… but the comped us dessert so overall an excellent meal!

When I walked in I was immediately greeted and sat down at my table. My family and I were celebrating a birthday and unfortunately our server did not make it a point to make it an important one. Our server barely checked up on us and when we were asking about the food and wine she did not seem to know anything about it. Luckily, the food was delicious but I do want to mention the grilled chicken on the fettuccine was very dry. Lastly, when my family and I stepped away to take a few pictures she brought the dessert with candles already lit and didn’t say anything so it sat at the table melting. The ambience and food really did save this meal other than that very poor service.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Toscana near Michigan State's campus, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The food was exceptional—every dish was a perfect blend of authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. From the rich, creamy pastas to the perfectly cooked meats, each bite was a delight. The service was equally impressive, with a warm and attentive staff that made us feel right at home. It's refreshing to have such a top-notch dining option so close to campus. Whether you're a student, faculty, or just passing through, this place is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Italian cuisine.

The menu is a delightful ! What truly elevates the experience at Toscana, however, is the exceptional service provided by Danny. From the moment we were seated, Danny greeted us with a genuine smile and a warm welcome. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, guiding us through the various options and providing recommendations that matched our tastes perfectly. Danny's attentiveness was remarkable; he checked in at just the right moments without being intrusive, ensuring that our glasses were always full and that we had everything we needed. His passion for the restaurant and its offerings was evident, making our meal feel even more special.

The food and drinks were fantastic, bit the service was the star of the night. Attentiive, helpful, patient, kind. The chairs are very comfortable too!

Hostess were unsmiling and somewhat aloof or tired. We had to wait a few minutes for our table and we’re placed near a crowded and boisterous 10 top. Server wanted us to order our food as soon as the drinks were delivered. The salads were delivered 2 minutes before the entrées which were barely warm by the time we got to them. The wine was not delivered with the food and I was charged twice for my drink. It was not pleasant.

Lively atmosphere and very good food. Toscana is a welcome up-scale addition to Lansing-area dining. I've been three times. The first two times the service was good to excellent. This time the service was very slow and server somewhat clueless--not what I'd expect for the prices. I add that the multiple wine lists are confusing. Just give us one list. And much of what we ordered by the glass was not available, so the server went back and forth several times to report "we don't have that." I add, when someone orders a $13 glass of wine, don't come back to the table and say, "That's out, but we have this" and point to a $26 glass of wine. Finally, if you list a fish special, have a fish special; otherwise don't list it. Those points aside, the food is very good, and the atmosphere on the patio and in the dining room make Toscana worth a visit.

Our server Matt was very friendly. Food was great. Best option for a good dinner in Lansing.

The chef/cook needs his/her skills improved —the chicken marsala’s crust was burnt (not a golden brown) and the salmon was rare and the replacement salmon was half the size ($42). Service was excellent! Dessert was too!
