Have dined here before and have always enjoyed it. This time service was an especially slow, both drinks and food. At the conclusion of the meal, we were not asked about dessert or coffee or an after dinner drink. This is not the service I have typically experienced.

Ate in indoor dining room. Entire place smelled like fish (not in a good way). Patio door made annoying squeak and slam every time guests or servers went through (which was a lot). Classic entrée dishes were ok but not worth the money. And a “classic” Italian restaurant always should include a salad or at least bread, neither of which you will get here. Disappointing overall experience.

Our Server was absolutely amazing!!! I wish I remembered his name, but he said he was also a bartender in the hotel. Best server we’ve had in years!!!! Amazing. Food as usual was outstanding

Arrived @11:00 and was seated promptly. I had made a reservation. At 11:20 we had not seen anyone. Advised the host and we left disappointed. People’s Kitchen was a wonderful meal. Try them instead.

The chef was not willing to accommodate any type of change to the menu items (ie grilled chicken instead of breaded or potatoes instead of pasta). Two of the dishes had chicken, one grilled and one breaded and both were burnt. Not a good value for the cost.

Food was fabulous. Service was very good but quite slow-big parties in the hotel. Dinner took 2 hours… but the comped us dessert so overall an excellent meal!

Alicia our server was so nice, professional, and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. I had the Waygu filet and it was cooked perfectly to medium. My husband had the lasagna and had to take some home (he is thrilled) the portions are so generous. It was an expensive meal with the bottle of wine, but because the food, service, and ambiance was so lovely, we felt it was worth it. So glad we found it.

When I walked in I was immediately greeted and sat down at my table. My family and I were celebrating a birthday and unfortunately our server did not make it a point to make it an important one. Our server barely checked up on us and when we were asking about the food and wine she did not seem to know anything about it. Luckily, the food was delicious but I do want to mention the grilled chicken on the fettuccine was very dry. Lastly, when my family and I stepped away to take a few pictures she brought the dessert with candles already lit and didn’t say anything so it sat at the table melting. The ambience and food really did save this meal other than that very poor service.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Toscana near Michigan State's campus, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The food was exceptional—every dish was a perfect blend of authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. From the rich, creamy pastas to the perfectly cooked meats, each bite was a delight. The service was equally impressive, with a warm and attentive staff that made us feel right at home. It's refreshing to have such a top-notch dining option so close to campus. Whether you're a student, faculty, or just passing through, this place is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious Italian cuisine.

The menu is a delightful ! What truly elevates the experience at Toscana, however, is the exceptional service provided by Danny. From the moment we were seated, Danny greeted us with a genuine smile and a warm welcome. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, guiding us through the various options and providing recommendations that matched our tastes perfectly. Danny's attentiveness was remarkable; he checked in at just the right moments without being intrusive, ensuring that our glasses were always full and that we had everything we needed. His passion for the restaurant and its offerings was evident, making our meal feel even more special.
