Toscana does not disappoint. Excellent food all around. Get the Lamb Lollipop appetizer! Phenomenal. Great service.

I reserved the 1:45 slot for our anniversary over a week in advance. Upon arrival the hostess greeted us sharply with, “We’re closing. Oh, you’re the 1:45 reservation.” Which instantly made us feel bad even though the 1:45 slot was available online for reservations. She then told the cook, “Your 1:45 is here.” The server brought us water and, although in the kindest way he could, told us, “No rush but our kitchen closes in 15 minutes.” We arranged and paid for a babysitter and drove over an hour and a half for this reservation and meal we were looking forward to and felt so awkward, rushed, and embarrassed. If the kitchen closes at 2:00… then maybe there shouldn’t be 1:30 and 1:45 reservation slots available online. This was my 4th time at Toscana and the food has always been wonderful. I was looking forward to my husband trying it for his first time but we felt so belittled and like an inconvenience.

driving back from Colorado to Dallas. Very impressed with hotel and menu. The food was a little rich overall for a palate but was very good nonetheless. The speakeasy below was excellent

Our table had steaks. My filet was cooked perfectly and I had a delicious mushroom risotto for a side. My friend got the ribeye on special which was cooked perfectly, but she wasn’t a fan of the seasoning. The last filet was very good with excellent potato sides. Next time, we hope to try some of the pasta dishes!

I can get a better steak at Texas Roadhouse for 1/3 the price, baked potato was barely warm, our appetizer was not hot. $83 for a mediocre steak (at best) is ridiculous. For a restaurant with a dress code and reservations I expect better.

Two meals. Dinner: burrata salad large and delicious. Chicken tortellini really good, sauce not really Italian but tasty. Crostini app was just four slices of toasted Italian bread, good but not “crostini “. Unusually good, though small selection of Italian wines, at decent bottle prices. Breakfast: really good French toast. But best of class biscuits and gravy. Fluffy biscuits, toasted for crunchiness, covered in gravy and a fistful of well done Italian sausage on top. Please order it, and add the crispy Yukon gold potatoes. It’s a steal. About the least healthy breakfast you can possibly order, but I can’t wait to go back and do it again.
