                                                Great food, service good also. The power went out on the full block and they handed that really well and made it still a nice time for all of us.

                                                We have been dining at Tortino's for years and always been delighted. The food and service are both outstanding. To say that it is a neighborhood gem is an understatement!

                                                Tortino was recommended on a DC Reddit group for hidden Italian gems. We were seated in the back room surrounded by 2 large, separate parties. Each group had about 12-15 people so it was extremely hard for our party of 3 to hold a conversation. The food itself was good; however, I wish the olive oil for the bread had some herbs and spices. The first loaf is complimentary, but any additional bread is $2. The menu itself must change because it didn’t have any of the things on it that I had found on the yelp reviews, which drew me into the restaurant in the first place. Everyone in our party ended up with the crab ravioli—which was good—but the sauce was almost too light and broth. It could have used more flavor. All in all I’d rate my visit a 3/5.

                                                Lovely service, flavorful food, and intimate ambiance. We were celebrating our engagement with a few close friends and it was the perfect place for the occasion, and our server helped us make the most of it will all the best recommendations. Will hopefully be going again soon!

                                                We love Tortino! The food is always delicious and the service is very attentive. It’s a great place for a quiet dinner with friends. The chef owner brings a great deal of experience from time spent in famous Italian restaurants in the US and in Italy. The menu includes inventive appetizers, tasty pastas, exceptional entrees and a good selection of desserts. We’ve only had exceptional meals at Tortino.

                                                The ravioli was really good, but the ossobuco was dry. The environment was a little dated and smelled like a basement.

                                                Our server, Pedro, was great and very knowledgeable. The food was incredible and fairly priced. The wine list was comprehensive with lots of delicious bottles. They took good care of us for our anniversary. Definitely recommend!
