Had a reservation at 8:30pm and weren’t seated until 9:30pm. Once seated, service was slow to arrive. Appetizers were good but portions small and $$$. It went further down the hill from there. We ordered our main courses, which included 3 pastas and one beet root vegetarian dish the server highly recommended (I’m vegetarian). The 3 pastas arrived about 20 min later and no beet dish. The server brushed by quickly with a “bon appetite!” without ever looking to see we were short a main dish. I had to call him back and he said he’d bring it right out. 15 min later, I flagged him down and he stated “it’s a very special dish that takes more time”. Are you kidding me? It’s roasted beets! If it took more time, he should have explained that when recommending the dish. When the dish arrived, it was literally 4 -5 small beets artfully displayed on a plate with dotted sauces. At best, this is an appetizer. The server, seeing my displeasure (and that the rest of our party had already finished their dinner), offer me a glass of champagne. Reallly??! I’m drinking a bottle of red wine and you think a glass of house champagne is adequate? Then came the dessert where he recommended: their interpretation of a key lime pie for $18 which which tasted more like a soupy, melted key lime ice cream the size of cupcake. After all of this, the server had the gall to state that although 20% gratuity is already included, but feel free to leave more because tips are shared with the staff. What??! Further, you would think a restaurant of this caliber would have a restaurant manager that would check up on the tables to make sure all was going well with diners. Nope. We saw her on the way in and never again. Save yourself from another overpriced Miami restaurant that treats you as if you’re lucky to dine there. If you want great Italian food with great service, go to Luca, Machialena, or Erba.

The food spanned from good to great. Overall, it was expensive for the portion sizes, but that's to be expected. The wine list was a bit narrow for my taste, with (pleasant surprise) some nice older vintages. However, the mark-ups were again, very high. Service was friendly, but the now frequent "...chef prefers the entire order be taken all at once..." does not suit me. Standouts were the beef tartare, the polpo and the lamb saddle. I'll go back and try some other dishes next time. But for now...4 stars.

I tried the langoustine risotto, carbonara, and seabass porketta. All three dishes were great. Would definitely return!

How lucky are we to have a Massimo Baturo restaurant in Miami? We had an incredible meal with top flight service. Wine list is extensive and very reasonable. Can't wait to go back!!!!

So much hype around this restaurant opening that we were very excited to give it a try. The decor is whimsical and fun but after all, it’s about the food. The depth of flavor and creativity is missing big time. The menu is chopped up. There needs to be a little more thought into putting this menu together. The kitchen needs to do a better job at delivering a wow factor experience for the prices they are charging

The food was exceptional, fully meeting the high expectations for a Massimo Bottura restaurant. However, the service felt a bit inexperienced, and the ambiance fell short of the culinary experience. The space was quite noisy, lacking proper sound attenuation.
