The cocktails were just not good. The bartended was not very knowledgeable and the drinks were hard to get through for me.

A Hidden Gem in Baltimore's Speakeasy Scene I recently had the pleasure of visiting Top Shelf, a true hidden gem in Baltimore's speakeasy world. Despite not being able to indulge in alcohol during the month of January, I decided to treat my daughter for her birthday and we were not disappointed. Located inside the Game On Bar Arcade, Top Shelf offers an authentic speakeasy experience that is perfect for aficionados and newcomers alike. The cocktail selection was top-notch. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her French 75, while her boyfriend savored his old-fashioned. As for myself, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and creativity of the non-alcoholic honeycomb drink I ordered. The service was impeccable, with the mixologist demonstrating a deep knowledge of her craft and a genuine passion for mixology. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, making it the perfect spot to unwind and savor expertly crafted drinks. Overall, Top Shelf is a must-visit for anyone looking to immerse themselves in Baltimore's vibrant speakeasy culture. Whether you're a seasoned speakeasy enthusiast or simply looking to explore a new experience, this establishment is sure to impress.

I made reservations as suggested in the IG post. I came in early to play a few games like suggested…we had a ball! We were escorted upstairs through the secret entrance…the drinks were amazing! Definitely one of my favorite spots now.

This is our 2nd time visiting here in 2 weeks. This place is great. Yusef is a wonderful bartender and can customize drinks to your liking or liquor preference. The drinks he makes are amazing! We usually come here to relax and chill after dinner so as far as food goes, we’ve only tried the french fries and cheese curds (mini mozzarella balls). Both the fries and cheese curds are really good, definitely recommend those. Our most recent visit, on 9/15, we were celebrating my brother and his wife’s 5 year anniversary which I noted when I made the reservation. Upon arriving, Yusef asked whose anniversary it was and wished them both a happy anniversary. Those small, personal touches makes for a great experience! I also love seeing the patrons of Game-On’s reaction when they see the reserved sign removed and we proceed into the “secret location” and the door is closed behind us! We'll definitely be back soon!

Super cute speakeasy located on the top floor inside the Game On Arcade in Baltimore. The space is small so reservations are required. The bar has about 10-12 specialty cocktails on their menu to choose from, however Yusef the bartender was able to create us drinks that were not on the menu that were super delicious. As for food, that came from the Arcade area so we had French fries and cheese curds (fried mozzarella nuggets) that were so good to accompany our drinks. If you're hungrier you can order pizza and wings. A super cute fun date night place or spot to grab some after dinner drinks.

we absolutely loved top shelf! they were able to accommodate us even when we were running two hours behind our reservation time, and the drinks were so good (and so strong)! such a fun friendly vibe
