Cute place and we had a very attentive and kind server. The wine selection was small and they only have bourbon based cocktails. The food was good and brought out quickly after ordering but the squash served on the plate was barely warm. The main entrance walks right into the dining area so we had to shoo away flies during our meal which was annoying and unpleasant. Based on the photos we had expected a fine dining experience. It was a nice place but not quite what we had hoped for.

Out of towner. Came here in' 23 and everything was outstanding. What a difference a year makes. Arrived an hour early ahead of our reservations to have a drink upstairs at the bar. It literally took 20 mins. for the bar staff to ackowledge us and take our order with 6 people sitting at the bar. I realize they were making drinks for tables, but it got to be comical how unorganized things were. Fast forward to when we were seated and things didn't improve. It took approx. 20 min. to get only half of our apps. Our waitress came by 3 times to ask if anyone brought the rest of them, to which we replied no. Another 15 min and we finally get the remaining apps......followed by a second set of apps 5 min later. We gave the duplicated order to the large table next to us. This place has so much potential, but if this is how things are run currently I won't be returning next time we're in KY.

Great little restaurant in Bardstown. Perfect for after the bourbon festival.

Enjoyed our evening at Toogie’s. We stayed next door at the lodge and this was super convenient. The environment was cozy and the food was really good. Drinks weren’t bad either! It was a great experience.

We had a wonderful group dinner with friends over the weekend. Less than an hour from our home in Lexington!! We will be back

Amy was our server and was terrific. Attentive but not overbearing. Food was fresh and very good. Cornbread was a bit disappointing with an overcooked, drier center. Apps of salmon dip, ham fritters were very good. Jalapeño corn chowder was top shelf and I’d commit a crime for its recipe! Entrees of vegetable gnocchi, bison meatloaf, pork chop and cod were all very, very good! Wine menu needs a sweeter option, like a Riesling or moscato would be nice. Just a terrific dinner all and all and very fun! Thank you! Visited last in spring of 2023 and love the changes. Amy made our dinner very enjoyable, tons of personality.

Good find and totally unexpected given its next door proximity to the "motor lodge", but was pleasantly surprised with the find. Attentive staff and sincere effort to please but a few minor hiccups surfaced. One was the inclusion of balsamic on my caprese salad which was cleared requested to omit, Server noticed as soon as they placed it down and returned to correct. Points given here - but they didnt stage the main course to allow me to finish the salad and as such, the dinner cooled a bit too long. Another was the arrival of the brisket was a very dense piece of meat puddled into some mashed potatoes which made cutting with the bread knife (they didnt provide a sharp steak knife...) very sliipery and could have easily slid off the plate. Server didnt return while I ate the main course, despite me having a "crushed" beer can to passively signal my desire for one more drink. Overall, still think well of the place and would return in the future as they work out a few issues.

To begin I want to say that they recently reopened under new ownership and with a new menu. We had a reservation and was quickly seated in a nice quiet upstairs dining room, we placed our drink orders and about 10 minutes later we placed our food order. After roughly being there for an hour we still hadn’t received our food. While waiting we received another’s tables food twice. Once we received our food, my entire plate was cold (meat and mashed potatoes) my fiancées porkchop was warm but potatoes were cold. We made the waitress aware of the issue and they completely took care of our check.
