We had a good meal and sat in a circular booth which was back from the crowd. The table was perfect. We appreciated being able to see the restaurant but not being in the midst of the noise. We also appreciated the privacy offered by a circular corner booth. Tony’s menu had a nice selection of seafood and steak options with excellent salad, pasta, and side dish options. Service was attentive but not smoothly executed. Bowling Green needs an elegant restaurant that delivers impeccable dishes with an easy flare. This restaurant appears willing to fill that need. It is new and with time I hope that this restaurant can develop the elegant panache we would all love for it to have. For now food was less than hot on its arrival from the kitchen and dessert was a bland room temperature with insufficient tableware provided with its delivery. It would seem that timing is an issue in the kitchen’s interface with service staff. However if you are looking for a well executed steak or fresh seafood this is your best bet in Bowling Green. Tony’s is new and with training and time could become a dining destination.

We were seated promptly for our celebratory dinner for my hubbys birthday. We ordered cocktails and an appetizer (crab cake). While we reviewed the menu. We are not first timers to Tony’s. Drinks took forever last night and we finally got bread only after ordering entrees. Crab cake took 45 minutes to arrive while others around us got food promptly. We both ordered the filet and while I asked for the $18 Oscar topping the lack of crab was abysmal. Come on. Do better. Our meal took 2.5 hours and we nice but there was no excuse for taking so long. Hubbys cocktail refill had to be asked for twice before finally arriving after another half hour. We did not get our usual experience last night.

When we got there, we checked in at the hostess stand and told them we were all there, we were approximately 15 minutes early and our table was not ready, so we went to the bar, and the service was terrible. After a long wait a bartender finally got my wife a glass of wine and walked away without even asking if I wanted a drink, and they were not busy! After a long wait I went back to the hostess stand to see what was going on with our table only to find out it was ready, guess if we had not gone back, they were not going to let us know. Once seated we had several questions for our server and not only was she less than congenial, but several of her answers also proved to be false. In general, in our opinion, and in light of the service and food, Tony's of Bowling Green was overpriced.

Outstanding crab cake appetizer. Bone-in Filet was phenomenal. One of the best steaks I ever had. Only negative is the very limited drink menu. Numerous pages of wines but only 4 or 5 cocktails listed.

Always Great Customer Service with Friendly Staff. They were so kind, the staff offered to help me cut my son’s Steak so I could eat and enjoy mine.

The service was great. Greeted immediately and the General Manager came over and helped with a wine selection. Some of the best appetizers we have ever had. For the main course she got sea bass and I got salmon and they were the two best pieces we have ever had. Cooked perfectly!
