Le menu typiquement américain du restaurant J House intègre les nombreuses influences du chef. Il utilise des ingrédients locaux autant que possible et adopte des pratiques durables. Les plats s'imprègnent de la merveilleuse odeur de feu de bois émanant de l'âtre, qu'il s'agisse de pains plats de saison, de légumes grillés, de poisson frais du marché, de poulets élevés en liberté ou de boeuf biologique. We had a great time last night. Since the minute we got there (assuming it was Tony) he welcomed us with a big smile and gave us a great table on the patio. He later came around to ask how our experience was. The server and everyone who served the table was great. Definitely worth the drive from NJ.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Tony’s at Jay House. Went for my girlfriends birthday. The food was absolutely delicious, every dish bursting with flavor and made to perfection. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a great meal. The hostess and server were very attentive. Tony, the owner, truly made the experience stand out. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. It's clear that he takes great pride in both the food and the service. Highly recommend this place, and I'll definitely be back!

Tony was an excellent fun and funny host offering high energy trivia questions to the table after the core dinner had been served. The attention to detail, highest food quality, careful service, and overall ambience was excellent for a Saturday night. Thank you.

This was our first time here. The service was exceptional and our server Benny and the Manager were top tier. They truly made our nights. However, the food did not meet our expectations. The dry aged steak was overcooked after asking for medium rare, along with the lobster and shrimp being overcooked. They were kind enough to bring it back to the kitchen and discounted the meal. Again, Service was above and beyond but the food… it just wasn’t worth it. Won’t be back for dinner however maybe for drinks!

Ambience, service, free valet, beautiful seating under the covered, heated section outside - Wonderful. Food - Meh. I had a bone-in ribeye that I asked to be Medium rare, so it was a little rare, okay. My wife had the "special" Dover Sole and we ordered the brussell sprouts for the table and for a starter we shared short rib dumplings. Short of rib was the truth, but the sauce was excellent. The Sole - greasy and the sprouts soggy. We will be back but not their best foot forward on a Tuesday night in January.

The ambiance is always great and we have eaten here several times always having a good meal. Unfortunately this time my filet I ordered was dry for the most part and somewhat chewy. Not at all what it should be. Hopefully it was a one of bad experience.

We loved eating out at Tony's and Tony himself who was very gracious and welcoming. The dining room was beautiful, and the food was good. The only complaint our group had was that that the special that two of us had was $80.00!! Other entrees on the menu were priced at $35 to $45 so we were quite surprised when we got the bill. I guess you could say it was up to us to ask but I have been to many other restaurants where they tell you the price of the specials. So just remember to ask and you'll be fine.

I was disappointed with the food, it was not even mediocre. We were a party of 6 and ordered 4 surf & turf and 2 Chilean sea bass. The sea bass was salty and we only received a small piece over a full plate of potatoes au gratin, with no vegetables. I had the surf and turf. It was a bad cut of meat and it was not flavorful. All 4 of us ate the lobster tail, spinach and potatoes and took the steak home to ‘doctor’ it up. The desserts were not any better. The crème brûlée was runny and the cheesecake was like a custard. The food used to be so good at Tony’s. I don’t know what happened? Did they get a new chef? I was so disappointed.
