The food was fine, no awards to win. The service was pretty bad, the person serving us didn’t seem like he wanted too, and that’s when they did serve us. The wait times where ridiculous and it took 4 times asked for us to receive the bill.

£8.25 For a glass of wine… and it was Lukewarm!! When I politely explained to the waitress , she suggested I put ICE in it!! Food was excellent value for money though.

I never had a bad experience with Toni Macaroni,this was a first. I don't know if it's because my booking was for 8 o'clock at night and maybe the chef had already went home, but not one single item of our order was hot or had any flavour. We invited friends,and they were just as disappointed as we were.

Service - greeting at the door was poor. Male at the door barked at us for some details, didn’t welcome us or smile and marched us to a table. Didn’t ask if it was suitable and marched off without a smile or any further greeting. Thankfully our waitress was absolutely lovely and made a real effort. Food - starter was fine, just fine. Mixed seafood sharer. Membrane hadn’t been removed from the calamari however it was decent portion. Mains - pizzas were good, slightly underdone in the middle but lovely base elsewhere and nice sauce. My wife had seafood risotto and it was vile. Cold, tasteless and not all a creamy risotto texture but like claggy rice and clearly had not been made as a seafood risotto but as a vast batch of plain risotto and some seafood (more membrane on the squid) added. Side of chips were overcooked. Ambience - restaurant was very busy and this is not the staffs fault but there was a large table of children and ladies, ladies at one end children at the other and the children were having a small riot. Climbing over the bench chairs and walking the length of them. Not a finger raised by any of the indifferent adults at the other end. Felt the manager should have told them to wind it in. Value - the price for this mediocrity was over £100 including tip. Shared starter, 3 pizzas and a sundae shared by the kids and a drink each, no alcohol, over £100. If the food is as great it would be just about worth it but the food was mediocre to poor for the risotto so just not worth it. I can understand they were perhaps busy and having an off night but eating out these days is a bit of a treat for most and spending that amount in a chain restaurant doesn’t sit well. I will not return and I would advise you to consider alternatives.

My sister ‘ myself had the goat’s cheese salad. Was absolutely delicious & and a good portion.

Service was slow seem to be short staffed. We were offered another tables order twice within 10 mins bit disorganised. Our 3 year old Granddaughter was given a small plastic spoon to eat her ice cream with which easily broke in her mouth. This could have been highly dangerous and will be contacting restaurant to ask if they'll carry on using. She could have got large piece of plastic caught in her throat and this could have ended in tragedy. Very distressing as they shd not be used.

The service was great. All staff were very attentive from the minute we arrived until we left. The food was very good albeit the portions were huge.

Great food and service as always, staff were excellent helping my son and his friends celebrate his 13th birthday, by singing to him with his cake

I am a regular visitor of Tony Macaroni in Livingston and I've never once been disappointed in any way, shape or form. My friends know how much I love the place and so I get lots of vouchers for Birthdays and Christmas - Result!!! Keep it up Tony.
